That is assuming 4T wars are started logically. You are like Mr. Spock expecting the Neanderthaloids in The Galileo Seven to act rationally.
And you seem to be making the assumption that logic and self-interest are thrown out the window in pursuit of... something.

The leaders of China aren't stupid and they really like their positions. Doing something that will deprive them of their comfy jobs and goodies is not something they're going to jump into on a whim. Is there strong domestic pressure for China to go to war? I don't think so. The military is not a highly sought out job in China and the need for skilled personnel is only growing while the utility of peasant cannon-fodder is mostly gone. I believe most Chinese want better living conditions and more cool stuff. Can they be led into supporting war? Maybe. Can the CCP pull that off? Maybe. Can China afford the equipment and upkeep to support a modern military? Maybe. But then again, maybe not.
Yes, good post.

There's a chance war doesn't break out, it's true. Not that people like hearing that on this site.
There's a chance that winter won't come next year.

I'm not aware that fishbelly is back. I really liked him, and I miss
him.

However, the mysterious way he disappeared led me to believe that
something bad happened to him over a period of a couple of weeks. My
thought is that he might have developed Covid and died, but I have
absolutely no evidence of that. But there must have been something
bad going on.

Kazakhstan riots: Protesters seize airport, government resigns

https://www.jpost.com/international/article-691596

Protesters seized control of the airport of Kazakhstan's biggest city Almaty on Wednesday, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters, as the Central Asian country was hit by a wave of unrest that started with demonstrations against fuel price rises.
All flights to and from Almaty are temporarily canceled, the source said.

Kazakhstan's internal affairs ministry said on Wednesday evening that eight police and national guard troops were killed and 317 were injured in several regions during the riots.

Demonstrators stormed and torched public buildings, the worst unrest for more than a decade in the tightly controlled country.
The Cabinet resigned, but that failed to quell the anger of the demonstrators, who have taken to the streets in response to a fuel price increase from the start of the new year.

Though the unrest was triggered by the price rise, there were signs of broader political demands in a country still under the shadow of three decades of one-man rule.

And in addition:

Russian-Led 'Peacekeeping Force' To Deploy To Kazakhstan In Response To Unrest

https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/4 ... -to-unrest

Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the chairman of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's Collective Security Council, has announced that this bloc, in which Russia is the most powerful player, is preparing to send a "peacekeeping" force to Kazakhstan. This will be the first time this international organization has launched a military intervention of any kind as part of its collective security provisions.

Massive unrest erupted in parts of that Central Asian country today after unprecedented protests against the country's authoritarian government that were touched off by a steep hike in subsidized fuel prices. There are already indications that Kazakh authorities are engaging in violent crackdowns on demonstrators in a number of major cities.
Russia has reportedly put a military airfield in Orenburg on alert, preparing a special flight to Kazakhstan. The military is also reportedly planning to send its 11th guards engineering brigade unit, currently based in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.
Ren TV reports that the VDV's 76th Air Assault Division's spetsnaz company and a company from the VDV's elite 45th Spetsnaz Brigade will be deployed. GRU/GU Spetsnaz brigades have also reportedly been alerted. 18/

Globalisation forces currently seem to making a bid for world domination.

The ‘anarchy’ around the world has been imposed of course by the United States Neo Cons pushing of their ‘New American Century’ doctrine of fermenting discord and destabilisation everywhere they sense a challenge to US interests and hegemony.

The result has been a disaster for the whole world – from Libya where it generated the refugee exodus overwhelming to Syria ( likewise) form Iraq to Ukraine and Afghanistan we see the results of US meddling – the US has now lost any possibility of influencing events in Iran as the Mullahs turn to Russia and China for allies and we have now also seem the Deep State turning on its own ‘deplorables’ US backyard. Biden’s deranged opening h of the Southern border will have incalculable consequences for the stability of US society – will Texas even vote to seceded from the Union?

The Chinese of course are busy imposing their own CCP model order where their writ runs and their writ is expanding globally – even into the workings of western states.

The real truth behind the origin and planning of the “Covid Crisis” is slowly seeping out – a major very weighty legal challenge in Italy on the who basis of the ‘pandemic’ and its handling by the Italian Government and Medical Establishment is currently underway in Rome and serious legal challenges to both Government actions and individuals are also underway in the UK and Germany.

The suggestion of total destabilisation and rocking of Western societies through the staging a “Medical Emergency” in order to impose mass vaccinations and a New World Order seems a science fiction fantasy, easily dismissed as wacko “conspiracy theory’ only a year ago . However, with every lockdown day that passes more people must be asking themselves what is really happening and whether it is “anarchy” or really a dystopian, totalitarian tyranny drive by a never ending “Medical Emergency”that is coming to the whole western world ?

Maybe I am too paranoid, but could it be that the person posting is not the original member, but a hoaxer?

This could potentially strengthen the Russian hand. It could very well end up giving them greater control of Kazakhstan and its resources. Come to think of it, the Russians may have engineered this so that they could send a "peacekeeping" force and thereby have greater control of Kazakhstan.

Very fishy that the "peacekeepers" are Spetznatz units.

You know winter comes because you've personally experienced the seasons and can draw on those memories.

You doubt the Fourth Turning because you haven't experienced the cycle for yourself and have no personal memories to draw on.

This is why history repeats.
