Throw our boys into the meat grinder! Yeah, that's the ticket. So Biden, Zelenskyy, Raytheon, Lockheed, Pelosi, Pierre Delecto, etc can all get richer!

These guys are lost.
Hmm. I was on loan to Lockheed for a while, and Raytheon was a frequent competitor. I worked on projects supporting all three elements of the nuclear triad. I'd still prefer those over Hitler, Napoleon, Stalin, Putin, Mao or Trump. I guess it takes all kinds.
You're missing the point, yet again. And presenting false choices. Did you ever hang around people with different points of view and actually listen to them? In your entire life? You don't have any ability to reason, from what I've seen, in the least. This is yet another example. The M-I complex is good because Mao existed. That's your suggestion. Do you not realize how stupid and meaningless that is? What's more, you admit it exists, which shows you that the US isn't clean at all, and you agree. Weird that I have to explain this to you, or others. But it happens all the time.

To dwell on love or hate?

The instincts to love those like you or hate those not like you are both survival traits. Different cultures and people chose between them differently. Will you help those in need, or oppress those different? Will you choose containment or conquest? Will you choose generosity or prejudice?

Admittedly, I have lived mostly in a blue state. Massachusetts has not been entirely clean. We had the bussing problem a few decades back. But for the most part I have encountered those who would follow Lincoln, FDR, Churchill or Christ rather than Hitler, Stalin, Napoleon or Putin.

But this site is dedicated to the hate side of the equation. The instinct to hate those that are different is at the center of Generational Dynamics. I would at least suggest I would prefer the opposite, love over prejudice, togetherness over conflict.

Still, it takes all kinds. Can one side of the coin exist without the other? Or at an age boundary can the pattern of civilization change radically. Not the solution to a few problems, like a turning, but a whole pattern of civilization, as an Age. I’d rather that the latter be true. Some enjoy dwelling on hate. All problems they deal with regularly can be solved by conquest, prejudice, oppression and the like. The question is whether we can grow beyond it.

The answer seems almost silly. Women care so much about the abortion question that they will vote blue. This is a strange way to shift the balance. We will see how Ohio goes tonight.

** 08-Aug-2023 World View: Fascists and White Supremacists

No, that list of insults did not come
from me. It came from Democrats,
especially Joe Biden, in a huge barrage
of insults that began prior to the
midterms, and has continued since then.

Biden could not open his mouth without
describing all Trump voters as
semi-fascist, racist, and white
supremacist. Biden's display was
sickening and disgusting, and continues
to today.

Even worse was James Clyburn, who
claimed that he has spent much of his
life studying 1930s Germany, and he
concluded that if the Republicans won
the midterms, then America would turn
into a fascist dictatorship. It's hard
to overstate what a sickening,
disgusting garbage heap Clyburn has
turned into, unlike many other blacks
who maintain their self-respect.
Democrats hate blacks, and are still
bitter that a Republican freed the
slaves, and the only way that a black
like Clyburn can become a leader in the
Democrat party is to remain a slave and
say what his white masters tell him to
say.

I see that you're calling me "deplorable."
As usual, Democrats have nothing to say except
to call names.

** 08-Aug-2023 World View: Deflationary Spiral

The CPI in China has been falling
sharply for many months, was flat in
June, and is estimated to be negative in
July.

For twenty years, since the beginning of
the generational Crisis Era (Fourth
Turning), I've talking about a
"deflationary spiral," like the one in
the last Crisis Era, the 1930s.

From the point of view of Generational
Dynamics theory, the reason this happens
is that in a generational Crisis Era,
people become anxious and frightened
about war and financial crisis, so they
stop borrowing money, and they stop
spending money.

From an email sent by the Daily Telegraph:
China’s deflation crisis

China has slipped into deflation as the world’s second-largest economy struggles to revive demand after years of zero-Covid policies.

The country’s consumer prices index fell 0.3pc in the year to July, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. It is the first year-on-year decline since February 2021. Inflation was unchanged in June.

China also revealed that factory gate prices extended their declines, with the producer prices index (PPI) falling for a 10th consecutive month, down 4.4pc from a year earlier after a 5.4pc drop the previous month. That compared with a forecast for a 4.1pc fall.

The figures come amid mounting fears that China is entering an era of much slower economic growth akin to the period of Japan’s “lost decades” since the 1990s, which saw consumer prices and wages stagnate for a generation. On Tuesday, China revealed poor import and export data.

Asian shares mainly fell overnight as China’s data confirmed its economic recovery was losing steam.
You were right about the NHS, John.
NHS app creator faces collapse

The tech company behind the NHS’s GP at Hand app has warned it is on the brink of collapse as it launched a fire sale of its assets.

Babylon Health, which provides virtual appointments and a symptom-checker app, said it is looking to offload “its UK business to third parties”, which includes the GP at Hand service that serves over 100,000 NHS patients.

In a regulatory filing on Monday, the business said it was exploring rescue options in both the US and UK after a deal to merge with MindMaze, a Swiss healthcare technology firm, fell apart.

Babylon warned it may not be able to secure enough cash “to fund the operations of the group’s businesses”, but it is understood its UK arm will continue for the time being.

The NHS is now 44% of the UK's national budget. The joke now is that the UK is a health service with a country...

Inflation rules the roost in America and Europe. Now they'll be on to yield curve control, and monetary repression.

As for China, I'll leave that to you.

All these revelations about Biden corruption and bribes makes me believe more and more that our support for Ukraine has been little more than an extortion plot by Zelensky et al. And a cash cow for savvy "investors". Now that WW3 is practically underway, with the US and NATO pitted against the Russians, how does this affect your GD prediction, John, that Russia, India, and the US will be allied against the Chinese? I guess an alliance is still possible, but I just don't see that happening without some cataclysmic event occurring.

Good question JDav!
