Today, Again, the CIA / NSA Traitor has requested "Temporary" Asylum in Russia.

Previously he had withdrawn an Asylum request to Russia because the Russians had said any such Asylum would be on Russian terms, not the Traitor's terms.

I am not sure if the Russians had agreed to the terms of the new Asylum request before the traitor announced he was again seeking asylum from Russia.

One thing that I never hear about, but it must be true -- a lot of the
information that Snowden stole must be about Russia, and so if Snowden
got to Venezuela, then a lot of embarrassing information about Russia
and Putin would be gleefully released by the Venezuelans. Despite all
of Putin's phony expressions of outrage, and his claims that he wants
Snowden to leave, my bet is that Putin will never let Snowden get out
of Russia.

The same would be true of the Europeans. If they can stop Snowden
from reaching Venezuela, they'll do so to save their own butts.

Russia has another incentive for not wanting to allow the CIA / NSA traitor to share all he knows with every country in the world.

Avoiding Embarrassment is not the primary motivation for keeping Snowden to themselves.

Even if Russia was far behind the United States in even knowing what could be intercepted from electronic equipment, they were farther along than most third world countries.

To the degree that some third world countries, and the average citizen of the United States, still has no clue as to what can be done, and what has been done outside the United States for decades, only third world countries, U.S. allies and American citizens will, in the future, be totally, and unknowingly vulnerable to this type of electronic spying in the future. Russia will want to get in on that kind of trade secret spying and military spying for their own financial and military benefit.

Russia will be able to do to third world countries and U.S. private companies, in the future, what the U.S. has been doing to foreign countries, including Russia, for decades.

Once a country knows what can be done, such as making a nuclear bomb, or tracking submarines hundred of miles away just from their propeller noise, then making nuclear bombs and tracking normal propeller noises becomes much easier. You just do not know, what you do not know.
