Russia crossed the line in the last two days and committed acts of war against Ukraine.
Russia has certain rights under it's agreement with Ukraine regarding it's Naval Base in Ukraine.
Forces stationed at the Naval Base have the right to defend the Naval Base.
Nothing in those agreements however granted Russia the right to fly troops in from Russia to civilian areas of the Ukraine, take Ukrainian civilian and military airports by force of arms, close the airports to Ukrainian Aircraft and allow Russian military aircraft to fly in to those same airports from Russia and prevent Ukrainian custom officials, by force of arms, from inspecting the arrival of foreign aircraft.
By any definition these are both a military invasion and acts of war.

Re: Russia commits Acts of War in Ukraine
The U.S. Media is reporting this as a limited move to protect Russian interests in just the small Crimean area of Ukraine.
That is not the case here. This is the start of a war with the Ukraine. When the two largest countries on the entire continent of Europe ( by land area ) have their armies shoot at each other all across the land area of the second largest country in Europe, you can call that a police action if you want, but the Media will eventually get around to calling it a war.
The media, and the United States, are just way behind Russia at this point.
