The United States and Nato have promised not to take any military action regardless of what military action Russia takes in Ukraine.

So if you are a great military power, and Ukraine is your oyster, what is worth taking?

Ukraine offers so much, let's consider just one thing - food.

Parts of Ukraine were the bread basket for the Soviet Empire, and for the Russian Empire before that.

So, according to these maps, Putin can just grab the east and
the south, and let the rest of the country starve.

I don't see Russia doing much more than they already have. Cost-benefit analysis is to much in the cost camp.

Absolutely atrocious. And no one speaks about it nowadays.
