Where is Moldova and why would anyone drive 300 plus miles in a tank to get to Moldova?

Moldova is between the River Prut and the RIver Southern Bug. The vast majority of Moldova, but not all of Moldova is between the River Prut and the River D'Niester, however, some is between the River D'Niester and the River Bug.
Moldova is surrounded by Ukraine on three sides and the River Prut to the west makes up the remaining border of Moldova. Romania is across the River Prut from Moldovia. Moldova is land locked and has no sea coast.
The current country of Moldova was also part of the historic Russian territory of Bessarabia. Moldova plus two Oblasts ( provinces ) of Ukraine would reconstitute the historic territory of Bessarabia.
