German Government report 2015: 1.79 Million 2015 Refugees to Germany

Germany will receive a total of 1.79 million refugees in calendar year 2015, including 290,000 who have entered Germany illegally in 2015 without registering, and that follow on family reunification's will raise that number to an estimated 7 million refugees resulting from Germany accepting 1.5 million registered asylum requests in 2015, according to a classified German government report leaked to major German Newspapers.
Publicly the German government has continued to use the old 800,000 non-classified estimate made early in 2015, before the surge that began several months ago started.
