Haitian gangs attacked an armored vehicle carrying Salvadoran personnel serving with the U.N.-backed Gang Suppression Force (GSF) over the weekend, United Nations and El Salvador officials said.
The attack occurred Sunday in Croix-des-Bouquets, an area on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital that is controlled by armed gangs, including Chèn Méchan, Kraze Barye and 400 Mawozo.
