Nope Trump was elected to in order to Move America away from the Clinton 1990s derived policies. Boomers never could admit after the events of 1999 through 2001 that "the 90s" were definitively over. Caving to NK is a continuation of Clintonist policy not a repudiation of those policies. Boomer politicians have always been "short-term" thinkers. In strategic terms the root of said flawed strategies is derived from a incorrect perception of the US' total strength compared to Russia and China. Boomers actually believe that the US is basically a small country with Russia, China and even India being stronger than America Militarily. When in fact the US is a military superpower who strength is Roughly equivalent to the combined strength of Russia and China put together. The reason North Korea and Iran feel confident enough to issue war threats occassionally is because they have spent 30 to 40 years looking at perceived cowardliness and Incompetence of US leadership, thus those nations have developed incorrect assessments of their own strength and incorrect assessments of US strength.Trevor wrote:These are the same people screaming "Russian Collusion" because they can't fathom the fact that Trump managed to beat their beloved Hilary. extremely violent manner and deliberately damaged its facilities.
This serious illegal act tramples on the rule of law in Hong Kong,
undermines Hong Kong's social order and undermines the fundamental
interests of Hong Kong. It is a blatant challenge to the ‘one
country, two systems’ bottom line."
Here's another:"There's definitely a problem with the policies
towards Taiwan and Hong Kong. Why does the central government
think that as long as it gives enough benefits and special rights,
the people will be loyal to you?"
On the other hand, many of the young protesters on Monday were"One country, two systems is too lax, and this is the
result. If Hong Kong wants to return to normal, it should start
with decolonization and change the name of Victoria Harbour to
Oriental Pearl Harbour."
As I understand it, Huawei is still on the list of companiesTrevor wrote: > These are the same people screaming "Russian Collusion" because
