Financial topics
Re: Financial topics
Population growth, resource depletion, and environmental degradation is the exponentional function since it is just another
definition of the log funtion. I understand your question and it alludes the actual problem of total landed cost and actual net working
captial going forward. There is no viable carbon nuetral reality for growth or maintenance models. To be blunt Capex and Opex.
According to economist James Hamilton, ten out of eleven post-World War II recessions have been associated with spikes in oil prices.
I find it curious people worry about reserves not in circulation to avert lockups we covered. M2 is a separate issue and more are seeing
as we did early those who have credit will not take it and the utility of those who cannot get it.

Re: Financial topics
The article is interesting; the reader comment below is a decent summary of then and now. Also what you said - "wasting process".
http://davidstockmanscontracorner.com/h ... tion-ploy/A gutted 70% consumption based economy, principally running on the ignoble counterfeiting of the world reserve currency disingenuously purchasing 70% of its own issued debt, which has been even further disemboweled by the abomination of the predatory F.I.R.E. sector and off-shoring of its manufacturing base is not much to toot your horn about................
Our growth for well over a quarter of a century has been synthetic in nature, predominantly fueled by the continuum of force fed debt financing funneled into consumer check books and credit cards paying for "girls gone wild" shopping sprees and building of particle board McMansions.
Well, that base and degenerate business model is over now.
ZIRP is the end of the line on that score........................DEATHFLATION.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.
Re: Financial topics
Good summary on the GD phases to the social renditions of intent. In my view it was circa 1986 and 2004 to shifts of many social metrics. For clarification it was summarized as another kuznet cycle in our early discussions to try to fit the Business cycle seen in the actual K wave. A venn diagram would and did suffice on the spillover to the wasting process of intent. As noted FDR had some good commentary I may not of liked but we must remember the lessons already seen coming from a apologetic standpoint to pericopic avarices noted as walking in circles from the Augustine ethic to defuse top down issues festering, or as we know unleashed. Later Churchill noted "that for a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle." Productivity changes the view and indeed John asked a valid preposition on the log value. I had to counter with it is another name for exponents as it is anyways and pattern recognitions in cluster groups constructed and lets say, measured. Granted his script is correct on the social constructs as we measure the damages of the dynamics. As we know the encyclical values of the cycle is not equal to the same throughput measures they use, and that the rub of the mathematical gibberish even the actual Keynesians understood since Alfred Marshall. I still consider the actual conversation on the paradox of thrift insurmountable from Utility that we measured, or lets say observed for brevity in that topic to the wasting process. They actually do care less since they are relegated in affairs to the Fabian overlords. Acton was correct when that times comes to reel them in they will lack resolve.
Logically, every voter should be ashamed of trying to screw his fellow citizens, since voters always select the candidate who promises benefits that someone else will have to pay for. t

There is no such thing as economic growth going hand-in-hand with declining human capital.

Back then, they built a car called the Lada. It was never in high demand either domestically or internationally but they continued to build them, just to keep people busy.
In order to maintain the illusion of a viable economy, the finished cars were dismantled and reduced as far as possible to raw materials-recycling if you will- and reconstituted into finished goods in a never-ending cycle.
The goods were available, but the purchasing power was not.

The ABCP market is not a place where hard-pressed business borrowers or consumer’s can find a new source of credit outside the banking system. Instead, it is a financial engineering arena in which banks will have a chance to mint phony overnight profits through an accounting expedient known as “gain-on-sale”.

Daniel Estulin, political analyst and journalist with a special focus on Bilderberg policies on the Voice of Russia
Key parts:
“I think their [Bilderbergers] position is very clear from their final objective and, their final objective, obviously, is the end game in Russia. Until Russia can be subjugated, you will not be able to have one world government, one world order, one World Company Ltd – call it whatever you want. So, what we are seeing right now it is not only in Ukraine, but all around the world. We see it in Detroit how not only the city itself, but the USA is being deindustrialized on purpose. We see it in Karakas in Venezuela. We see it in Thailand. We saw it in the Soviet Union back in the 1990’es. We saw it in Yugoslavia back in the 1990’es. It is the idea of destruction, deindustrialization, zero growth. Again, the end game is Russia and until you can subjugate Russia, one way or another, you are not going to have your one World Company Ltd, one world government. And this is basically what is behind all of these attempts.

The bubble which is about to burst is much bigger than the 1345 bubble, which destroyed most of Europe, killed half of the population as a result of the bubonic plague. And what we are seeing right now is something far worse.

Japan has already offered the blueprint, which is to shut down the power plants and print money. Draghi said last week he is getting ready to fire up the presses. The default mode of operation in the G-7 is to print money rather than invest - seems to be the opposite of the Great Depression when the TVA, etc., was implemented.
