Everything I hear indicates that the number of rigs is falling, but
oil production will stay high for two years because the existing rigs
have low marginal costs and will keep on pumping.

I live in one of the most active drilling areas in the country, near Oklahoma City. I read about the Bakken fields in North Dakota stacking many rigs, but in my area drilling hasn't slowed appreciably. From one vantage point nearby, I can count 10 rigs. I have noticed two new rigs starting drilling within the last week. I'm selling frac water and fresh water. I am told that Continental Drilling has no plans to slow in my county, with rumours of 200 planned wells. One one tract that I am familiar with a few miles from my residence, I know that no drilling ever occurred in past oil booms, and the horizontal wells are coming in with what I consider great production of 800-1200 barrels a day initial production; don't know about the gas. Some wells, I am told, are primarily for gas.

My brother in law, an experienced petroleum engineer was laid off from Apache Corp. in January from the Permian Basin field in west Texas.

With the drilling and associated pipelines being laid, its an exciting boom. The roads are somewhat unsafe because of all the rural traffic and deterioration of the roads from trucks.

We are through the looking glass ---

In Italy, They're Now Taxing Shadows --http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-03-2 ... ng-shadows

As Italian newspaper Leggo reports, store owners in Conegliano are now faced with the unfortunate (albeit comically absurd) proposition of paying taxes on shadows.

The rationale appears to go something like this: an awning casts a shadow on public property and therefore you must pay to use that property.

"... there will I deal with and execute judgment upon them for their treatment of My people and of My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and because they have divided My land." Joel 3:2

Just as Kaduri conveyed with Sharon. Netanyahu should not divide the area. No matter what context it is wrapped in.

Caused by the rise of the nanny state and the childification of "adults" by urban "liberals". Children can be more competent if allowed to be. During the settling of the country an 8 year old knew how to shoot a rifle and defend the home . Today, go to a state fair and see a 9 year old girl prodding a 1,200 pound heifer, which she raised, into the auction arena with a three foot stick. -- etc.
