John , thanks for this series of postings. I heard a panel discussion this AM on WAMC in which all but one of the discussants opined that we had nothing to worry about. But one , a woman said, “ We’re all a bunch of humans pretending we know what we’re talking about…,and WE DONT.”

It could happen overnight. There’s a book published several years ago with the perfect title: “ Our Final Invention.”

I'm curious as to what Trump thinks he will do NOW that Russia has won/taken parts and strategic defense portions of Ukraine. I wouldn't support more belligerence after the fact, of course. But I don't think Mr. Trump has any real say on that, though he claims he does.

American politics is clown world, Trump just generally does far better in every aspect, compared to his opposition, which is totally possessed by the evil one/evil forces of the world - not hard to do if you're just normal.
