Some people who have read my web site have called me both a psychopath
and others have called me a sociopath. It's nice to know there's a
difference.

Jidoka is a quality concept that means "stop everything" whenever an error occurs. It is controlling quality at the source. Instead of using inspectors to find problems someone else created, the worker is his own inspector, responsible for his/her own quality. When an error or defect is discovered, the worker has the authority and the responsibility to halt the production process.

A few years back statistics calculated for the same year by the U.S. government's Bureau of Economic Analysis determined that the metro area consisting of Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington, in Texas was the economic size of Greece. Close enough to wonder what some people thinking anyways. Overall people are downsizing since the press lost its mind long ago.

Yesterday I was thinking about how an enemy could strike the US and disable it. I think it would be relatively easy since most of the US is a wasteland with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 metro areas in Texas. Texas is the horse that pulls the rest of the US economy and probably the only reason US currency is marginally acceptable at this point. Based on that idea, the 7 Deadly Scenarios by Andrew F. Krepinevich seems like the blueprint that an intelligent enemy would follow.
