So America and Europe are just going to collapse? What does Generational Dynamics say about push back?

A good source for that information is
the 1864 Democratic Party platform:

https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documen ... y-platform

The party platform provides a full
justification for the Democrats' war
actions. The phrase "the open and
avowed disregard of State rights;" is
code for slavery.

I answered this question at length in

That article contains a summary and
analysis of "The Secret Speech of

You make claim on things that are irrelevant and unfalsifiable. Typical of the shills on the forum. "Russian Greatness"?

America being a joke with actual, controlled communist politicians and shadow governments doesn't make Russia anything, including great. It says a lot about the US, though. Try thinking on your own for once.

Yes, that's the plan. Why do you need GD when the actual elites tell you what the plan is?

Answer: You don't.

Progressive and Infinite Expansion

Brevity…

The 1864 Democratic platform called for continued slavey and continued obedience to law. This is not progressive. This is stay the same. The Union wanted slavery abolished, territorial expansion, and industrialization. That is progressive. That is the Gilded Age.

I can acknowledge that both Communist and Chinese abstract philosophies exist for continued expansion until there is no where else to expand. I deny that they have plans for it in the immediate future. They have antagonized their neighbors into forming defensive alignments. Their economy is a mess. Global Warming seems to be picking on them more than usual. They need the remnants of globalism. They need oil, and do not have a navy that can defend it. Bio war given mutation is unreliable. I quite believe they have any number of plans for incremental expansion at specific border points, but supplying an invasion force across the Pacific doesn’t seem close to possible at this point. I doubt they spend much mental energy even daydreaming about it.

Projecting Power

One thought I had was that Communism and the Chinese are not the only forces that thought or think themselves inevitable. The US and the west think the combination of democracy, capitalism and defensive alliances inevitable. It’s not a military thought. We do not see triumph through revolution or supposedly superior genes. But even the CCP has folded in an element of capitalism. All three major powers of the last crisis (Germany, Italy and Japan) have become democracies and joined defensive alliances. Is this not part of the inevitable Information Age pattern?

Reading the Carnegie piece, they hint that China sees this inevitability. The west is slowly expanding without serial violence. On the other hand, China is rapidly collapsing. One supposes that this isn’t part of China's script.

Ironically, CNN is leading its front page with the article “Increase in activity seen at nuclear test sites in Russia, China and US.” It concurs that China is expanding from a minimal nuclear capability to a significant one, but they are not alone.

https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/22/asia/nuc ... index.html

But that does not mean China has an immediate plan to supply a large force across the Pacific to the US. For that, one would need a dominant blue water navy, not nukes.

Trump is alleged to have a contingency plan for invading the Middle East. That is plausible if the US is given basing somewhere near where they intend to go. The US military is vastly more able to fight wars globally, to project power abroad. However, we have recently relearned the crisis lesson of no boots on the ground. After fighting one major war, fighting another is a big no no while the prior one is in living memory.

At any rate, China may believe, some individuals anyway, that their nationality is superior and their triumph inevitable. We may believe in capitalism, democracy and containment, and that our own triumph is inevitable. We both have nukes and are pushing the capability. But you still need a country near your target to build up aggressive forces. China is close enough to many places. The US is not one of them.
