The second part of my personal collapse preparation strategy was to get water treatment engineering experience, which was done from mid 2014 through mid 2017.

The third part is to get ready to start a post collapse consumer products necessities business that outmaneuvers and undercuts the big national brands, as described in this post from 2012. I started working on that last month.
Higgenbotham wrote:These would be my thoughts on starting a business.

First, get ready for a post-collapse world. In the current pre-collapse world, existing businesses are conditioned to operating in the pre-collapse environment. They will be lost post-collapse. This is when the prepared entrepreneur can step in.

To get ready for the post-collapse world, travel to a third world country or to a country that has already collapsed and observe how business is conducted. Talk to the locals to get an idea of what business conditions were like pre-collapse and try to envision how the conditions in the US that are different pre-collapse will change the post-collapse environment vis-a-vis the country you are observing. I chose to travel to one of the poorest areas of the former USSR to make observations. It was formerly pretty well off because it was a manufacturing area and not too far from Moscow.

Begin by pilot testing an idea with a very limited amount of capital at risk. My thought would be less than 10% of capital should be risked on the whole initial operation. Operate on a cash basis and under the radar. Let's say as I mentioned a few pages back that a formula for laundry soap has been obtained and someone wants to make an attempt to manufacture this product. I would not rush headlong into buying equipment, renting space, and other things a conventional business person might do today. Instead, pay a contract manufacturing outfit to mix some up on a small scale, then figure out how to sell it. Observe what equipment the contract manufacturer is using and do some research because that equipment may be picked up for pennies on the dollar at auction when the bankruptcies roll in. If it's thought that the future of America will most resemble Detroit, Michigan or Las Vegas, Nevada, and there are probably better places to consider but people can understand what I am talking about by mentioning those places, take the product there and live there a few months. Figure out what works best to move it in the post-collapse world of strip mall flea markets, craigslist, or whatever is envisioned. See if customers match the envisioned post-collapse profile and find out what else they need to buy where they would seek alternatives to the current distribution channels, in order to save a few bucks or which may be shut down, post-collapse. Probably enough said, but that's my general idea.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

We luckily have a artesian well. Many are trapped unable to move as they forgot eighty percent are coastal and some persist that the border issues are fairy tails. We have enough strata to construct a dump filter if needed. I will recheck the current price of the sealed iso filters already purchased which treats 15,000 gallons that removes water born pathogens for drinking water. As I reminded some people making beer from the ancient days was only to preserve water. One to five micron filters are damn cheap also and I have spare housings for them also. Five or six screws and two unions its moved for the other existing array. Estimates vary, but each person uses about 80-100 gallons of water per day. Generation snowflake will not make it over three days once the coke and pepsi runs out. It is getting very bad out there and as warned coming soon to a gun free zone near you others. Delores is scared out of Her mind to whats coming and Americans are indeed past the simple minded idiots. As we read Lamb won in PA. on what we said in the forums and we are paying for programming centers allegedly called public education. It looks like since we doubled the population we have four times the idiots running around.

Thousands of students participated in the National School Walkout carrying signs protesting gun violence in schools and advocating for gun control.

Ai responded, humans are smart and programmable.

Yes, we seen that effect coming puter.

Congressional Budget Office (CBO) forecast that deficits would reach $1 trillion in 2022. Because of the new laws, America will exceed the $1 trillion mark much earlier, in 2019

As we forumed they where apoplectic if anyone changed the current course.

We stated point blank they are clinically insane.

Between the left and the right we know what happened when the wall fell.

Few fathomed what came from it, and what was coming and here.

Taxpayers do not like what is.

Carroll Quigley was correct on throwing the scoundrels out. The epitome of unintended consequences.

Since many read His work we sorta know what is in the wetworks also seen recently.

To date I consider the Office does also.

The Office has our support since to few are paying attention.

Maybe we can get some more thinking Democrats to support our Constitutional Republic.

Since I get asked this question a lot, I thought I'd do a
search and compile some lists that have been published.

It turns out that quite a few of these lists have been published
in the last year. Apparently this is getting to be quite
a popular subject.

These are the published lists. I'm omitting the reasoning, but you
can click on the links to read the justifications for the lists.

What would be the safest countries if WW3 broke out?

Multiple answers:

* The safest countries will be in the southern hemisphere, in no
particular order it should be Australia, New Zealand, perhaps some
areas of Namibia (nowhere else in Africa), south of Chile and
South of Argentina (forget the rest of South America).

* Northern Hemisphere: 1 Greenland, 2 Northern area of Nunavut and
north-west territory of Canada. 3 Switzerland 4 Iceland

* Southern Hemisphere: 1 Australia 2 New Zealand

* Australia and New Zealand

* Switzerland

* South Island, New Zealand

My father, who grew up on a farm with no indoor plumbing, was against me participating in organized sports after school. He thought it was a waste of time and, though he never explicitly forbid it, he expressed his intense displeasure. The activities he encouraged were: from about age 6, learn chess, music, and read the great books of western civilization; from about age 10, learn how to manage money, invest money, start a small business, work in his small business, deliver newspapers, and learn how to garden (he required that I spade up the garden by hand once I had enough "lead in my pants" to do so). He was a Silent born in 1933.

There's been a lot written about using New Zealand as a safe haven. It's the pick of the wealthy in Silicon Valley. They have planes loaded with fuel and hired pilots ready to take off on a moment's notice. Based on that alone, it would probably be prudent to consider that "Winter is Coming Soon" and the resumption of the Fourth Turning is at hand and this time it will be for real.
