From a random twitter I found:
@momotrader

Ok folks .. my concern isnt that they #CMEgroup delayed 30 min. Rare, can happen. But if they close it AGAIN within a hour of opening it .. look out. Story will be much bigger than that issue.

Any sniff of serious hack to our mrkts, confidence in electronic trade goes buh bye.

After Friday's shutdown of all of Canada's markets, this has
to raise a lot of suspicions.

Especially when combined with the shut down in trading of two major stocks on the US market last week.

The pillage idiots always buy at discount. The Shtetl attitude of cultural awareness in North American is staggering to behold.

MBS pricing and derivative instrument valuations.

Repricing is active today of two categories of Agency RMBS holdings: pass-through Agency RMBS and structured Agency RMBS.

Usual suspects

When I posted the chart below awhile back, it would have been useful to note that the absolute high on the Nasdaq index was March 13. It made its high later than the S&P 500.

Using March 13 as the high, the "Gann Death Window" opens up tomorrow and day 56 would be on Monday, May 7, 8 years and 1 day after the May 6, 2010 flash crash.

Damn good point H.
WD Gann, arguably, the best stock market trader of all time, noted in his writings what has become known as the "Gann Death Window" which is 49-55 calendar days after a high. The Gann Death Window is the time that markets are most vulnerable to panic. And panic this week they did, but not very much.

As noted, after gambling large starting in late January through early April (and almost doubling my futures account), I wired almost all the money out of my account and started over playing what might be considered the equivalent of nickel slots, starting with only $4,611. The snip of that balance was posted a few times, so I won't post it again.

As of today, at month end, my account is up 37% since starting with that small balance about 3 weeks ago. I've traded only a few days, picking my spots carefully. Gambling small is good practice for handling the pressure of gambling large.
