After a while, you realize that despising the Sheeple really makes no
sense at all. It's like despising earthquakes or typhoons. The
Sheeple, earthquakes and typhoons are all inanimate objects inevitably
spreading death and destruction because they must. It's the way the
world works, or it's God's will, depending on your religious beliefs.

All you can do is realize that it's all pointless, and that you should
control what you can control. Despising the Sheeple is like blaming
the gods for the drought that killed all your crops, so you're facing
a winter of starvation. Why bother? Do you want to wait until you're
buried by hot lava from the exploding volcano? Or would you rather
control what happens next? The only thing that you can control is
your own existence.

I realize your comment relates to the belief that irrespective of what an individual Sheep may choose to do, the mass of Sheeple will behave as you've quoted often - "In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule."

I think it's OK to despise masses of humans or cockroaches, either one.

Johns point is very valid as the white noise in effect for the pragmatism of the times.
When they did we knew why. It was noted here as operation 939.

As Volcker succinctly put it, “The standard of living of the average American worker has to decline.”

It was not mountain dew or OCD that announced what they ignored. Under the Bus was design feature.

The political smoothing is no longer a localized feature, as such when two steps early you know the definition.

'If I had known that the Germans would not succeed in constructing the bomb, I would never have lifted a finger.'

Einstein also believed that the USA would treat the discovery with respect and would resist actually using the bomb. He was not the sort of cynical realist who would foresee that America's atomic research would now be managed by the military. (When it was found that Germany had no bomb, someone said, 'That's wonderful; we won't have to use ours'. A US army officer retorted, 'Of course you understand that if we have such a weapon we are going to use it'.)

In April 1945 Leo Szilard came to Einstein again, this time to share his deep fear that the USA would start an atomic arms race. Once again Einstein wrote to the President, enclosing a strong warning (written by Szilard) against using the atomic bomb. But the letter was still unopened on Roosevelt's desk when he died. The new president, Harry Truman, was too busy taking office to be accessible, though the scientists tried hard to get through.
The reality is the top 0.1% move the world forward while the top 2% run the world and move it backwards, as illustrated above. I think something like free trade would be very workable if the equivalent of the Einsteins of the world had control of its implementation, but the reality is there aren't enough of them.

As Ayn Rand understood, when the top 0.1% adopt "I would never have lifted a finger' as their preferred course of action ("Going Galt", or in the former Soviet Union "Dofenism"), or are ignored, the top 2% absent the top 0.1% can run things into the ground very, very quickly. Of course, those numbers are approximate; I don't know what they really are.

The Dönmeh continue to rise in power in Turkey. It was this core group of Dönmeh, which organized the secret Young Turks, also known as the Committee of Union and Progress. The point is this recently. They only used text as they knew voice was compromised. Those working on degrees left before the purge. They where smart and lucky to get out. My thought was they were sealed and got out in His grace alone.

https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/ ... rt-ii.html

The point is simple, a few got out because they understood the actual ground Intel. This was just over two years ago.

With various players now angling for war with Iran, the true history of the Dönmeh and their influence on past and current events in the Middle East becomes more important.

From the standpoint of pragmatism, the issue might summarize to "What are you going to do when the crisis hits and the ill-prepared Sheeple show up at your door?"

The wealthy would answer that with "I live in a gated community with lots of security."

My answer is "Hopefully I will be in a self-sufficient rural area when that time comes."

Others might say, "I will be at ground zero when the nukes hit and don't need to worry about that."

I think one's view and attitude toward humans and human nature have a lot to do with how that question gets answered. I think many will try to help.

The ground level propaganda is very sophisticated.

I have to correct the claim made in the previous post so that your readers are not misled.
It simply is true that some Doenmeh in Salonika appealed to the Jewish authorities there to be recognized as Jewish (between 1912-24) and that they were REFUSED by the rabbis who claimed that the Doenmeh were "mamzerim." (legally defined bastards)
The following verse from Deuteronomy 23: 3 was brought forward to deny them their Jewish status: “A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.”
The foremost Turkish Jewish scholar, Abraham Galante, wrote about this historical incident in his book: "Nouveaux documents sur Sabbetai Sevi; organisation et us et coutumes de ses adeptes, 1935"
And how do I know all this; because I am a Doenmeh in 2009 who is STILL refused his Jewish status based on this nonsensical verdict…
Just because you haven't read anything about this historical fact (or that you were unaware of it) doesn't make the statement false.
By the way, this ruling, ironically saved almost all the Doenmeh from becoming victims of the Holocaust, as they were forced to immigrate to Turkey in 1924, less than 20 years before the Nazis took over Salonika and wiped out %96 of the Jews there.
Unintentionally the rabbis saved us from total extinction by not recognizing us as who we actually were!

Jacob was correct that Dan would survive by means impossible for the educated to fathom.
Those who recently escaped Turkey knew what was coming.

Most of today’s Doenmeh are descendants of 20,000 Doenmeh residents of Salonica who were exiled to Turkey in the 1920s as part of a population exchange between Greece and Turkey. Their exile came in the wake of a ruling of that city’s rabbis, who refused to recognize them as Jews, something that would have allowed them to remain in Greece as a minority. The historical irony of that decision is that it actually saved their lives; nearly every member of the Jewish community of Salonica was ultimately annihilated in Auschwitz or Majdanek.
