Kari Wade, who, with her family, owns a ranch just 50 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border.
The border rancher recently responded to a Facebook comment when someone asked, “Where’s the fire” in regards to the urgency of President Trump to build the wall at the U.S.-Mexico border
Let me tell you where the fire is:
The “fire” is finding dead bodies on your ranch, the “fire” is finding domestic pig ears in your drinkers when there isn’t a domestic pig for 25 miles, the “fire” is waking up to unknown people talking in your attic, the “fire” is dogs barking all night when your closest neighbor is 7-25 miles depending on the direction to just realize there are people outside your barn, the “fire” is having to come home after dark and have to carry a rifle to go feed your livestock after BP tells you that they only caught 9 of the 15 they are looking for. The “fire” is making a choice...do I take my child with me to a dark barn to feed and hold the flashlight or lock him in the house, so you lock him in the house and call a friend to let them know he’s home alone and if they don’t hear back from me to come check on us. The “fire” is you don’t feel comfortable letting your child play outside without being in eyeshot of them. The “fire” is having large drug busts on your ranch. The “fire” is feeling sick to your stomach every time the helicopter swirls your house because you know they are chasing people because you can hear them on the speaker talking to them. The “fire” is seeing the BP camera set-up 1/2 mile from your house. The “fire” is coming home after dark...your children are driving in front of you as one is of age to drive, and there are officers on your road watching illegals 1/4-1/2 mile from your house and you have to call your children and tell them to keep driving, don’t stop at the house. The “fire” is coming home to your backdoor wide open. The “fire” is real for me, my family, and my community.

My recent spin on the record low birthrates:
Higgenbotham wrote:As is sometimes my habit, in this case I want to separate my particular commentary and spin put on the data from the actual data.
Many would say it's great news that fewer teens are getting pregnant. Hallelujah!
My particular spin would be several things:
- Generally speaking, young people produce healthy children and old people do not.
Generally speaking, young people have their whole lives to devote energy and resources to children and old people do not.
Supposedly, the economy is getting better, but birth rates have traditionally had a lot to do with how the economy is doing and it can be reasonably concluded that, based on this data, young people are either not doing well or don't expect to do well in the not too distant future.
The MGTOW movement is really gaining steam on the internet and maybe young men have gotten to the point that they are boycotting relationships and marriage in high enough numbers to cause the birth rates to drop during supposedly good economic times. MGTOW is based on the idea that marriage is a bad deal for men and judges screw men over during divorce settlements, so it's best to avoid women, period.
Sperm counts are dropping so fast that experts are worried virtually no babies will be able to be born in 2 or 3 generations. Maybe we are seeing the effects of that now, though certainly that would only account for a small fraction of the huge drop in birth rates being seen. But it is probably a factor.
Death rates are increasing for all age groups which indicates the population is in declining health, which would imply declining fertility. In fact, deaths during childbirth, while low, are increasing precipitously.
The world is heading into a new dark age and, while this data doesn't prove that, it certainly indicates something is seriously wrong and is one more indicator that is lining up in favor of that argument.
More than a third of millennials share Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's worry about having kids while the threat of climate change looms
A 2018 New York Times survey found that 11% of respondents "didn't want children or weren't sure" because they were "worried about climate change," and 33% were having fewer children than they ideally wanted because of climate-change worries.
The birthrate in the US reached a record low for a second straight year in 2017.

Wow, looks like I was seriously off track as to why birthrates are falling.
If "climate change" is really the primary reason for the record low birthrates, I believe that increases the possibility that the world is entering into a new dark age, whether "climate change" is real or not.

Turkey’s stand-off with investors has unnerved traders globally, pushing the world ever closer to a major FINANCIAL PANIC come this May 2019.
There is a major liquidity crisis brewing that could pop in May 2019. European Banks have loaded their portfolios with real estate loans thanks to quantitative easing and negative interest rates, and emerging market debt. Spanish banks are especially invested in Turkish debt where they hoped to get the highest yields expecting that the IMF would never let Turkey default. On top of this, banks have been lending to each other to also avoid parking money at the European Central Bank where they would be charged with a negative interest rate.
Currencies from South Africa’s rand to Brazil’s real are witnessing a spike in their expected volatility, signaling concern they may weaken the most along with the Turkish lira going into May. The price swings have evoked sudden deep-rooted fears that there may be an emerging market crash before the end of the year.
