This is my progress in playing the komodo chess bots in blitz chess over the past 2 months. In blitz, the player has 10 minutes to play an entire game against the bot. If you run out of time, you lose, even if you had the advantage prior to running out of time. I had never played blitz or any competitive chess prior to this.

The main difference in playing a bot in chess versus trading is in chess you have to make a move. In trading you can make a move when you see one that you think will make you money. Also, the bot has book moves programmed in so until the opposing player deviates from book, the bot probably has the advantage.

When you trade against the bots, it's like watching 50 chess games the bots are playing against each other, then finding a board where you like the positions and see a move and making one move. That's a lot different than being assigned to a board and being required to make all the moves.

But chess is still a lot different than trading despite that analogy/difference. But now I can speak from experience of having played the bots in chess.
