The Chinese Institute of Public Health published a paper on what would happen without Wuhan style measures at containment .
You might want to go back and read it.
Much as you guys keep on saying we weren't warned, we were,by the Chinese no less.

What I heard was no travel FROM Europe, but I didn't hear anything
about travel TO Europe. Also no restrictions on travel from UK.
This will cause a great deal of outrage.

I expect you are right. But as a practical matter it is hard to fly to someplace if you can't fly from that place.

Futures are down nearly 4% after trump.

Bear market stories will be all over.
Maybe this coming Monday will be the real crash. Just sure it is supposed to be on a Monday.

Let us beware the "bull traps" and the "bear traps". A bear market is difficult to read and harder to trade.
Looking at a monthly chart going back to 2007, the SP 500 had an initial leg down of some 20% then had a leg up to test the 15ema and after that the waterfall crash with a couple of minor ups to about 700.
Say the SP 500 closes this week at 2680 then that is 21% down from the peak and could have a leg up, followed by upsie downsie for two or three weeks, before the waterfall crash. On the other hand Monday could be the Black Day!
