Of course, purchases by the US government are bought and paid for by taxpayers. For everyone else there's $1200 mail-order delivery:

Gerald, some moron at State has gone Hillary. These are not the appropriate suites. These are for use in containment labs/facilities. They are for reusable applications, and Haz-Mat spills where the suits may undergo a well defined decontamination sequence, or disposal depending upon the nature of the contaminant being dealt with - these are not general used disposable contamination suits designed to be used with taped wrists, and latex gloves and a face shield, and/or goggles, and a mask.

The items necessary and needed are disposable suits that may be used, and disposed of several times a day. They are used with a separate face shield/goggles, with separate taping at the wrists, multiple latex gloves and taped ankles and a mask. I am not sure whether it's me or not, but part of the Ebola difficulty may be that all the pics I have seen of people "suited up" show no shoe covering. Without shoe covering that means that should the shoes become contaminated the wearer is in danger of infection when removing and putting his shoes back on unless the shoes have been specifically decontaminated.

It is important to understand that the Ebola virus is so vigorous that a single minute droplet deposited on a pair of socks, being transmitted to a person's hands when removing the socks is sufficient to be transferred to the wearer's hands and then to the eyes, or nose, or lips and cause infection. But $1200 Haz-Mat reusable suits are not the appropriate item, and as is the case with all big government, this is probably the wrong item, and an enormous wast of cash. The place to look for an appropriate order would be from the CDC, not the inept State Department chaired by one of the great idiots in all of the US Government - this has John Kerry's finger prints all over it.

This is hysteria to the point of insanity.

There is no Ebola vaccine.

Even if some vaccine could be found, by the time 500 million doses had
been manufactured, the virus would have changed, making them useless.

Yes, John, I realized the odds of getting 500 million ebola vaccines in time are approximately equal to my dying when all the air molecules in this room randomly go to the other side, leaving me to suffocate in the resulting vacuum. Maybe it is because I have been researching and thinking so much about this for the last couple weeks that I incorrectly thought that was obvious, and that I was being rather sarcastic. I apologize for not using a rolling eyes smiley.

NBC News Freelancer in Africa Diagnosed with Ebola http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/ebola- ... la-n217271

"An American freelance cameraman working for NBC News in Liberia has tested positive for Ebola and will be flown back to the United States for treatment."

hmmmm

Should I assume the cameraman had enough intelligence not to touch sick or dead people, and he also took precautions? So how did he get it? he was not a doctor or nurse? From the air? hmmm

side note -- nano silver

http://drrimatruthreports.com/wp-conten ... -Study.pdf ( Defense Threat Reduction Agency )

DTRA’s research was carried out specifically on Ebola Virus as well as other deadly hemorrhagic
(bleeding-inducing) and deadly viruses. The results were the same: Nano Silver at 10 PPM was the
most effective agent at killing the virus

However --

Governments seize colloidal silver being used to treat Ebola patients, says advocate

Efforts to bring natural Ebola treatments to suffering West Africans have been squelched by the World Health Organization (WHO), which recently blocked multiple shipments of nanosilver solution measuring at 10 parts per million (ppm) from entering the region, leaving thousands to suffer needlessly.

"WHO officials also reportedly called off a trial at an Ebola isolation ward where local health authorities were set to begin administering the silver, which the U.S. government previously demonstrated is highly effective against Ebola. WHO ordered the trial not to proceed despite the fact that it had earlier voiced support for experimental treatments."

Hmmm this link -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3wcjwY4mz8#t=15 from the above I don't think I linked to. However it is a working link to "We Should Not Be Reluctant to Assert the Superiority of Western Values" --- which I don't recall linking to.

As for the other link I just thought it was interesting, since prior to posting and using Google to search for " nano silver 10 ppm" the search was blocked, today I found it was not -??

I probably should have posted this link instead http://drrimatruthreports.com/wp-conten ... -Study.pdf which appears to have information from a government source.
