Arm the Taiwanese and Singaporeans with nukes. Do it secretly, and tell China to suck it. Also, station American jet fighters in Taipei. It doesn't matter if Chinese gets angry; we're going to fight them anyway...

This is a stupid suggestion why arm those countries, those are the weakest countries in the region. If you want a buffer against China, Arm Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia and South Korea with Nukes instead.

You're an idiot. Singapore and Taiwan are not weak militarily. Singapore is much stronger than you think. You've never been to either country, have you? Arming South Korea might not work. The South Koreans under President Moon would probably reject them. Giving nukes to Muslim Indonesia is a bad idea. Vietnam is a communist dictatorship. Have you ever set foot in Asia?

I was thinking of Arming Japan, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, and giving more advanced techs to India in addition to arming South Korea if Possible. There is no possible scenario that this would be regarded as a favorable development by Xi Jinping's government. Xi Jinping's government wouldn't care less that newly nuclear armed nations in this proposed scenario are democratic, authoritarian, communist or Muslim. What Xi Jinping and his government would care about is that previously Non-Nuclear armed nations that are usually enemies of China are now Nuclear armed Enemies of China, or in the case of India their Nuclear and conventional forces would suddenly receive a massive upgrade. The Chinese would be forced to back down. Such a development would massively alter the geopolitical balance in Both Asia and the World.

And who is going to pay for these weapons? The Philippines is still quite poor. They can't afford high tech armaments. And their current president is erratic and weird. Indonesia is political and socially unstable. Vietnam is a communist dictatorship. Both have horrendous human rights records. Both countries are still relatively poor. Why should we arm them?

Japan and Korea have state of the art armed forces and are armed to the teeth. The SK's have a 725,000 man army and millions more in reserve (but lack MWDs). Japan and Korea have the technology to create their own nuclear weapons.
