I agree. The Russell 2000 and the Dow Industrials are still holding their August 11 highs. This is the greatest opportunity of my lifetime, or maybe any lifetime, to be short US bubble stocks. We know that great opportunities are fraught with great danger and this bear market rally, if that's what it is, has been all of that.richard5za wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2020 9:33 am It looks like the global momentum of stock markets is turning. Europe is well down today and the spark seems to have left the SP 500.
Perhaps it will make it through 3400, although I doubt it, but I can't see it breaching 3500.
I suspect its a downward path from here; perhaps even starting today. I am not actually looking forward to the madness turning into panic, but no doubt that will happen.

Are they done? Assuming it's going to be soon regardless, what's a reasonable range for them to retrace to?
Silver lost about 1/3 in that mini crash and I expect this one to be similar.
I haven't traded silver since the March low but I took a crack at it Friday for the first time in 5 months. Here's a snip from my daily statement. I would never go short and hold based on the above expectation of a 1/3 drop but when there's a lot of bullishness followed by turbulence in a market it can often result in profitable trading.Higgenbotham wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2020 9:57 pmhttps://youtu.be/cb9CNPK76YQ?t=110Higgenbotham wrote: Mon Aug 10, 2020 6:17 pm Near the end of the rally, the really big numbers start coming out as the bulls start feeling invincible.
