We are replacing the May-June 2020 section with something new extending the plot to the right. The recent slope is steeper than the section we are replacing, so it seems a reasonable guess is that the 12 month number should go up from last month's 5%.

I really expect markets will be surprised by higher than expected inflation, again. Just wonder if they will care yet.

Again, at some point I expect people to stop believing the "inflation is transitory narrative" and with that change, faith in the Fed, and expectation of zero percent interest rates for years will evaporate. If you don't have 0% interest rates then prices for bonds, real estate, and stocks are all way too high. We have not had a triple bubble like this before. When it pops it will be bad.
