We have never had the Fed start with interest rates this far below inflation.
I think there will be many more hikes than people think, but they won't catch inflation.
They are doing 0.25% every 6 weeks and inflation is doing 0.5+% every month and they start out 7.5% behind.

Yes, the market and the economy will crash. There will be panic selling of bonds
and the Fed will have to "stabilize the market" with more QE but it just means money printing is out of control and they won't stop inflation.

This is it guys. We are headed for hyperinflation. To get money printing under control the Federal government would have to balance their budget and the Fed let interest rates go up to like 10%, but the government could not balance their budget at 10% interest, so they can not stop printing. Out of control printing will give hyperinflation.

It's not the biggest option-expiration Friday, but it is big with $2.2 trillion in index and single-stock options,
split between $820TN in early settlement and $1.3TN in afternoon settlement. t

I don't know what drives the Bitcoin price; it doesn't appear to be sensitive to the Ukraine / Russia crisis.
To illustrate what I mean: For instance what drives the S&P 500 index? Its mostly driven by the P/E ratio which in turn is driven by the levels of inflation / deflation; not in the short term but medium to long term. You can prove the high correlations with not a lot of maths.
But what drives the price of Bitcoin other than circumventing tax and law enforcement? And when authorities get on top of this one what happens to Bitcoin? And why does the price go from $ 67 k to $ 35 k in less than 3 months unless its just speculation? When the S&P 500 index drops 50% (or more) we know ther reason: The P/E ratio in the current inflation context and earnings levels is in an insane bubble. Why is Bitcoin at $ 35 k and not at 2 k or 400 k?
