Also 3800 is some 21% below the peak and this alone could cause panic.
Also there is no doubt in my mind that until the USA goes into hard recession / depression there will be stubborn inflation, in fact double digits this year is a distinct possibility. So another possible scenario is that once this is internalised by investors the market crashes.
