The average South Korean dislikes mainland Chinese. They are looked at as uncouth and obnoxious. I grew up in South Korea.

What I have learned from my Filipino wife is that Americans aren't very good racists and need to takes lessons from Asia where they all hate one another. As my wife put it, "we don't even like people on the other side of the same island". Interestingly, Americans (as individuals as least) aren't disliked. At least if you're white.
