The is the "regeneracy" concept in generational theory, which refers
to the regeneration of civic unity for the first time since the end of
the preceding crisis war.

The country was bitterly divided against FDR, but they united behind
him after the Pearl Harbor attack and the Bataan Death March.

Exactly the same thing will happen today. If there's an attack on
American soil, or a major military defeat overseas, then Americans
will put aside their political differences and unite behind Trump (or
the next president) overnight.

Unless this is 1453. The Byzantines were defeated and enslaved, and we will be too.

The Byzantines didn’t have the technology to spread Greek Fire over the entire Ottoman Empire in less than thirty minutes even if 70% of their forces were whipped out. They had lost territory for 100s of years to get bottled up in one city relying on walls that were built 100s of years before. The US is nowhere near being in the position the Byzantines were in at their fall. The US is still the sleeping giant that Yamamoto feared.

It's highly more likely that these goofballs will show their usual impatience, and simply become mass murderers of their neighbors.

My guess in THIS case, as regards Burner, is that he (probably "he") has more sense and less "courage" to "go off", and will simply smolder like the punk meant to trigger the old cannons that's been abandoned on the battlefield that finds its way into a pool of mud.

As to his points (probably "his"), his (probably "his") basic premise is that his (probably "his") "Magic Blood Theory" will nullify the (supposed) "Magic Dirt Theory".

Everyone that subscribes to the "Magic Blood Theory", which is just another name for "Identity Polity Supremacist" Theory (the "Racial Supremacist" attitude), will be squashed like bugs by the vast majority of the population (with the help of the various government entities) very shortly after the "regeneracy" event.

..and that "squashing" will be (a part of the) fuel for the "enthusiasm" that strengthens the regeneracy.

It won't matter which "blood" you go by. You will be squashed by the unified surge, if you don't form up in unity against the Great Opposition.

Burner is quite correct in veritably ALL of his (probably "his") observations of the activities of the various "Supremacists".

You are completely out of touch with what is going on in the US (And Western Europe). The social breakdown is real. I've seen it. I think what BP wrote is spot on. It's definitely the case in the UK. The average migrant is just a parasite. They openly hate white people, despise the government that feeds them, and treat the law with total disdain. The Wets has imported common criminals. They will not unite behind a Western flag. it won't happen.

"Tomorrow will look much the same as today." The flaw in Generational Theory - which extends from Fourth Turning is that the US population is homogeneous and all on the same generational timeline. I know John has said his version corrects the flaws, but I see no evidence that this major problem is addressed. It sounds like, "Well that's the way it's always been, so next time will be too."

This is a legit argument. The Rome of 10 A.D. was not the Rome of 476 A.D. Rome was barely Roman by the end. Immigration destroyed it. People don't magically transform when they settle in a new country.

Today, many immigrants are open hostile to Americans. It's dangerous to pretend otherwise.

I could see Mexico taking over the Southwest after China lobs a few hundred nukes at us. But everybody will be a loser in the CoC World War. I think the Allies will have a victory, but it will be a Pyrrhic victory (on a Pyre). John thins 4 billion will die. I am guessing more like 7 billion.
And fear of this will not stop the war. I have read articles and stories from the Twenties and Thirties. They though poison gas would end the world. But nukes are militarily usable in a way poison gas is not, according to John.
Maybe the 4 billion (or 1 billion) survivors will be able to rebuild and even create a Singularity. I don't know. But we shall see.

If you think immigration is the main reason for America's woes, you are completely uneducated about what immigrants are really like. Although, I do concede that illegal immigration is very bad for the US, and that immigration is the main problem hurting Western Europe.

In the US, most legal immigrants are hard-working and industrious. I've noticed that most of the best research professors are immigrants from China or Europe. Most of the best students are immigrants from China or India, or they're children of immigrants from those countries.

As a Gen Z (Gen Zer?) I think the biggest problem in the US is the moral decay of the youth. Everywhere I look, I see that personal and social morals have diminished. As morals diminish, so does the regard for the rights of others. I believe this is why the youth is turning to socialism; it is an immoral system that does not respect the rights of the individual.

Still, at least they're willing to fight for something. I could see them unifying against a common enemy. All hope is not lost!

A lot of what's been written in the last dozen or so messages is
incorrect. If a nuclear missile from North Korea or China lands on
San Francisco, the country will be immediately united behind the
president in declaring war and striking back. That means both
political parties, all races, all ethnicities, all genders, all sexual
orientations, citizens, legal immigrants, illegal immigrants, and so
forth. That's what a "Regeneracy" means.

Those of you who are old enough to remember 9/11/2001 may recall that
President Bush declared war on Afghanistan within 24 hours, with the
support of both parties and pretty much all Americans. The unity
continued through the Afghan war and only began fraying because of the
Iraq war.

The Mexicans are not going to side with China against the United
States. Mexicans know that if China were to succeed in the United
States, then Mexico would be next.

One thing that I agree with in the preceding comments is that
separatists such as "Aztlán separatist" Mexicans in southwestern US
may take advantage of the war to try to form a separate Aztec-based or
Mexican-based nation.

Chinese students are a fifth column, and Indians migrants are loyal to India, not the US. And most of the migrants in America are uneducated Latinos--not grad students at MIT. You are the one who is out of touch. Where do you live, a college campus?

Many of them are uneducated, but so are many Americans. There are also many immigrants who are far more productive than the average American.

Come to think of it, George Bush wasn't enormously popular, since he didn't even win the popular vote and many were furious that he became president. But immediately after 9/11, everything changed.

Trump would gladly defend Taiwan, but I can't say the same about the rest of the US government or the majority of the American populace. If Trump loses in 2020 then Taiwan's in big trouble, since the Democrats don't seem to think China presents much of a threat. In addition, the socialist wing of the Democratic Party (which appears to be dictating more and more these days) is antiwar beyond reason.

Yes, mps92, this will prevent a war between China and America, just as the Kellog-Briand Pact and the Oxford Oath prevented the outbreak of a Second Great War in 1939.

Without Taiwan, there is no Casus Belli between china and america. The main reason the US and China are enemies is because of the dispute over the Taiwan issue. Without it relations would be much better.
