Judging from the lack of people attending his farewell flight, he has lost those people too.

There looked like a lot of people at the inauguration!

Oh, I forgot to mention.
How will this end? I've answered that question many times. It will
end with an existential threat to America. There will be a global
financial crisis and third world war with China,
and this will unify
the country, and end all this political divisiveness crap.
After the war?
If America is eventually unified, I don't see the problem here - which may be a problem with the prediction. Or all the other loonies around here are wrong, which is likely. Most of the responses I see here, in aggregate (not yours John) are schizophrenic.

There can be a circling of the wagons for Trump, even if he is not the next nominee. I have tried to counter some of the more despondent posts here, but I think my responses are ending up all over the site, though I'm not sure why.

> So... now what?
If you think of "Now what? or "What happens next?" as a jigsaw puzzle,
then here are some of the jigsaw pieces:
- There have been various polls, but the figures I've heard most
frequently are the following: 70% of Republicans believe that the
election was rigged, 37% of Independents, 20% of Democrats, and over
50% of the population overall.
...
- In his farewell speech this morning, Trump said that he was proud
of his supporters, and "I'll see you soon."
So those are the pieces of the "What happens next?" puzzle.
The next major step will probably be Trump's.
The biggest dissidents on the right are sick and tired of Trump and don't want to listen to or follow him anymore. They're tired of his boastful promises. He is a poor leader due to his confrontational style and boasting. He has poor communication skills and does poorly when speaking off-the-cuff or ad-libbing. He can't rattle off talking points like the left wing pros or Pence & Pompeo. He is too thin-skinned and overreacts to every buzzing insect in the peanut gallery. He did a fair job as prez, but doesn't have what it takes to lead a movement. He can't unite more than 50% of the country at best which is not enough. He needs > 50% which is what the left is currently able to do, with their lies, tears, feelings, and free stuff. As long as the right tries to reign in spending or control demographics, or do anything rational, they will lose every battle. So as usual they will "slow walk" left policies at best, conserving nothing in the end.
Trump will still command MAGA types and some of the more delusional ones like Vox Day. Certainly Bannon will still support him. He never had strong support from mainstream conservatives, especially the never-Trumper neo-cons, and has plenty of enemies now by his own hand and big mouth.
His popularity and influence will fade, though slowly. The damage done by the tech and business purge is permanent.
You have a great many things very well understood but you are far too black pill --- and to your detriment. A few things that you are not looking clearly at, Burner:
1. Trump was a necessary movement to bring forth other movements. Attacking him for not being perfect is classic, stupid righty-think that doesn't help the American cause one bit; it just advances his detractors.
2. Your slow walk point is absolutely true but it can be changed as the new movement or party can absolutely change it.
3. America will never be what it once was BUT the fear porn here is constantly overstated and the degree to which people think it will pass, and how quickly, is not going to be the case.
4. Regionalism/Balkanization is far more likely as an outcome where "America" is no longer, and that's not all bad.

Society will be stratified along the same lines, with semblances of upper, middle, and lower classes.
And those who don't own BTC will be at the mercy of the US digital dollar = lower class.

** 20-Jan-2021 World View: Performing seals
Listening to one politician after another today, I'm reminded of the
following lyrics from a Rodgers and Hart song:
When love congeals
It soon reveals
The faint aroma of performing seals
The double-crossing of a pair of heels
I wish I were in love again
TV news today reeked of the aroma of performing seals.

Asset Mania has blinded many otherwise geniuses. BTC will be good until it's becomes competition for the new digital 'currency'. Gold will be shutdown too, but if you know where it's buried, you can get it in 20 years for retirement. Invest in your next 20 years self-sufficiency. You'll get healthy and have everything you need to live independently. There's lots of fancy, collectible, usable things that retain value as well, assuming you have your farm. With plenty of acreage. Cellar and whatnot. Eventually all the digital wealth will need to be confiscated for the sake of the nation, will it not? Sure, you'll get war bonds to hold for a better day.

Pure African-Americans will be marginalized or genocided (or bred out) by the Hispanics. Mixed black-hispanic-asian-indo will survive just like they do in South America and the Caribbean.
Before you dismiss me as a racist, hear me out...
