Guess you just had to prove CB correct on something. The evidence provided by others is rather overwhelming though.
I have been considering if the Democrats go wild with the Disqualification Clause. All seven states that presented fake electors likely could set up state charges if they wanted to, similar to what Georgia is doing. If the DAs could enforce the law, but choose not to, they are providing aid and comfort to an insurrection. The district attorneys responsible could be declared ineligible for state office.

Similarly, if a US congressman introduces or votes for a bill that removes funding from Jack Smith or harasses a state prosecutor going after an insurrection, that too could be considered providing aid and comfort to an insurrection. The congressmen that do so could be ineligible to hold office.

Not sure if they should go this route, but it is interesting.
Yeah, just ban people that you disagree with. It worked for Stalin.

You would provide aid and comfort to the insurrectionists? You are against the Constitution?

Why are we as a people - 99.99.99% majority - allowing ourselves to be dictated to by the 00.00.01% warped, mentally disturbed freaks amongst us?

In America, it is the Conservatives who try to dictate what you can learn, or what health care is available, or who cops are supposed to kill, supporting insurrectionists, etc... This is the opposite of freedom and equality. It is enforcing European culture on those who would rather do their own thing. I too would prefer a form of health care that does not try to dictate. Guest here is slandering, claiming I am taking a position I do not.

Reading your posts, I don't believe you. I think the others have you pegged just right.

The two major factions are much more evenly balanced than that. The white supremacists, trying to encourage European religious doctrines and old prejudices on others, are in the minority but no where near that much of a swing. If Guest really believes this, he is totally divorced from reality.

Let me be clear, then. Many red states have made reproductive health care unavailable. DeSantis is among the worst at dictating what can be taught in his state. Milwaukee is one place where cops kill out of prejudice. The conservatives in the US House of Representatives are giving aid and comfort to Trump.

This is a case of trying to preserve your worldview. Beyond is certain age, the worldview is set. One will ignore facts rather than change worldviews. Thus, many here are blind and will insist on being blind.

Shifting gears, in each crisis there are key issues. White supremacists are trying to push their European pattern. Many red states take reproductive choice out of the hands of women and their doctors. There is too much gun violence. The civic generation generally suggests how these issues and others are to be resolved. In case you haven't noticed, they have already chosen. I can warn you, but if you want to preserve your worldview, you cannot absorb the facts.

In each crisis, the progressive side reflecting new problems and solution makes adjustments to the culture. The conservative faction attempts to maintain the old position, fails, and collapses. It is looking like this pattern is continuing. If you do not want to see it, you won't. That you deny the obvious only proves my view of what is happening is correct.

That's pretty funny.
