I have to bet some kind of "deal" or promise of a "deal" gets cobbled together over the weekend or early next week and the market will rally for about 3 days on that. If that happens I will probably reverse to 100% short at that time. There is no reason for me to disbelieve there can't be some carry over towards your target in this bizarre carnival that has no modern historical context.
The S&P futures are up about 35 points from the panic low on Friday. Not sure this "deal" is worth any more than that, so I went back to 75% short.
Whoops, the S&P futures closed the week up 75 points from the panic low on Friday. I'm planning to move to 100% short and maybe more next week.
Congratulations, Higgie! You're one of the few people who know
how to make money in this dysfunctional climat.

So far I've only figured out how to lose less, lol. If the top of the market is near, I'll do OK in the end. Things look even more dysfunctional than I estimated.

Men get six months in jail for stealing food from trash
Jail time for taking food from trash Hieb says the men admitted that they jumped a fence and took fruits and vegetables from the garbage area at Sweet Pea. They originally were charged with felony second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft.
Hieb said St. James told him he was going to make an example of the men.
They accepted the plea agreement offered by Assistant District Attorney Kerry St. James, they said, because they did not want to risk being convicted of a felony.

Average trade size is showing a similar pattern of rising into a crescendo turning point...especially when overall volume is light as it was today
(suggesting dominance of small-lot algos to enable big lot exits).

I have a bunch of SLV options expiring worthless this month that I have had for 2 years. I so wish I had sold my silver when Higgie got out at the top.

I bought a bunch more today that are out 1 and 2 years. I still think we have a good chance of hyperinflation and that the stock and options markets will hold together long enough that SLV options will do well for awhile. We will see.

Great story, even if it was Six ( 6 ) Years old from before the Financial Crisis.

Great story, even if it was Six ( 6 ) Years old from before the Financial Crisis.
Reminded me of a story when my father was in the military during Eisenhower and a guy in Texas got 20 years for taking a loaf of bread.
The other element was HSBC to pay $1.9 billion U.S. fine in money-laundering case.
Sometimes the legal system and justice are concepts only that was reminded from him a long time ago.
Some time back we gave the Police the digital tape to get our property back countless times from our place of business
stating no prosecution and they may not do business with us until they come in and explain. Police liked that, but the poor District Attorney
did not since the criminal justice system was losing business. They slapped us with a twenty five thousand dollar a year assessment but
we filed correctly on shedules and articles of incorporation and as conveyed before here we left analog a few years early
and opened a ISP. Some years later they are now paying eight thousand dollars tax payer money for business to come back locally.
I do not think so since you cannot be trusted then, or now with your script. I make money not even showing up.
Recently they got busted for zero interest loans to city employees so in the long we factored correctly, even if luck
some may say we left them to a design they created and now are incarcerated or excluded from public affairs.

Money is going otc and secondary markets we noted. We noted the beta trade algo and packet stuffers
also running riot. Vanilla know's this on who and why. We moved on since they are unwise not to listen to Vanilla.
It may dawn on them to late that printing into algo's and hft is a bad idea. We noted that nominal prints
are not gdp at the margin. They may be slow in DC but they are not that plain stupid. Dullards maybe
but not plain stupid.
