I just seen that. I also seen the PBOC SWF just opened agreements with them. The world is slipping into darkness
and demographics are key metrics going forward. Some seen the recent IRS press release as a confession or a olive
branch. All I heard was law and follow the law and the junior segments following the law. Well you get my meaning
that the majority understand the intent of Constitution better than basically 13 miles of tax laws. They are the disconnect
in our society not us. Just following orders worked out fine for Dresden and Tokyo just fine. Locally we are getting by and
we only wish to be left alone. They cannot do that can they as they poison the well of privacy. Many years ago they told
me the day will come when they suffer the indignations brought about on the people of the land as they turned there cheek

I believe there is trouble directly ahead and we are just beginning the descent into the Dark Age this month. To my way of thinking, though, the Dark Age doesn't officially start until Washington and New York collapse into chaos and there are dead bodies everywhere - I give that 1-3 years. Things will get plenty out of control before that happens, though. The rule of law has already broken down in this country. In my opinion, there is no way there will be any fourth turning regeneracy. This is a dying civilization and it was already dying 2 years ago.

I agree with the multi-century aspect. But as far as cash having any spending value when the collapse into the Dark Age officially starts, it won't, and there won't be any "bargains" to buy at any "bottom". The "bottom" will be decades or centuries away and barter will be the norm until then.

The Yen has lost about 30% of its value in the last 6 months. I think history books will say the Yen's decent into hyperinflation started as it became clear that Abe was going to get elected. After the Yen gets hyperinflation other reserve currencies (Pound, Dollar, Euro) will follow. With all the reserve currencies becoming worthless then all the currencies where central banks used these 4 as reserves (Yen, Dollar, Pound, Euro) become worthless. It will be all paper money becoming worthless. The whole world will fear all paper money. There will be chaos like never before.

Paper and other hard currencies have been vastly reduced over the past couple of decades. Now Sweden is doing this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... rings.html in yet another action to completely remove currency from the market. Debit cards, credit card etc are pushing us to a cashless society. This will make it a wonderful situation for the world governments as it will be difficult to make non taxable transactions, and the government can just take what they want when they want as happened recently in Cyprus and as the ECB is considering doing in the EU by taxing savings accounts.

During hyperinflation you should expect governments to try hard to tax all transactions and maybe forbid anything other than local currency. However, the black market will grow fast anyway. It always does during hyperinflation. Anyone foolish enough to follow all the rules will be out of business soon enough, so the fraction that is black market grows over time. The French would cut people's heads off for not using paper money and still a large fraction of the economy did not use paper money.

Here is the core problem. If I trade 2 fish I caught for 8 ears of corn a friend of mine grew, why would either of us report the transaction or pay any tax? And how much tax in this rapidly changing money should we pay? Who else would know? Do we weigh the fish and look up some fee on the Internet, or weigh the corn and look up some fee? Really? What proof would there be to go after us? We will both eat the only evidence the same day. If you go after people for things like this they lose all respect for the government. At the end of the day the government needs some consent from the governed, so it is dangerous to piss off everyone. If people can't get fish or corn at the legal price controlled store and can only get it on the black market then they won't feel evil for going there. They do have to feed their kids.

When government interference in the money and economy gets high enough, black market barter is more efficient than government money.

The inability to tax a large fraction of the economy does contribute to the government deficit and money printing.
