It will be difficult for Ukraine to commit genocide against Russians unless it actually invades Russia. I think that unlikely. if you mean that Ukrainians may commit war crimes against Russian soldiers, that is almost inevitable, especially after the recent Russian actions. There will be a strong desire for revenge.
I meant Ukrainians committing war crimes against Russian soldiers AND Ukrainian civilians of Russian descent.

After a farmer shot a man who broke into his home, French President Emmanuel Macron said the French people do not have the right to self-defense, and the man should have instead let the police handle the incident.
Macron is an idiot. By the time police would have gotten there the farmer likely would have been dead and the perp would have vanished. I hope someday he has the opportunity to follow his own advice and call the police as an intruder enters his home. He probably won't live to tell his side of the story.

The ability to defend oneself from harm is a basic human right.
The French voters will do what they always do: vote for revolution and radical reforms and then spend the next five years resisting it at every turn.

Former 2014-2015 Prime Minister Alexander Stubb said Finland is just weeks away from submitting an application to join NATO despite Russian warnings

He said: 'In the beginning of the war I said that Putin’s aggression will drive Finland and Sweden to apply for NATO membership.

'I said it was not a matter of days or weeks, but months. Time to revise: Finland will apply within weeks, latest May. Sweden to follow, or at the same time.'

Australia has accelerated plans to buy long-range strike missiles years ahead of schedule because of growing threats posed by Russia and China.

Defense Minister Peter Dutton said Tuesday the accelerated rearming of fighter jets and warships would cost 3.5 billion Australian dollars ($2.6 billion) and increase Australia's deterrence to potential adversaries.

"There was a working assumption that an act of aggression by China toward Taiwan might take place in the 2040s. I think that timeline now has been dramatically compressed," Dutton told Seven Network television.

"When we look at what's happened in the Ukraine, there is the prospect of Russian going into Poland or somewhere else in Europe. That would be a repeat of the 1930s and that's not something that we should allow to happen," Dutton added, referring to the beginning of World War II.

Massive riots and grocery store looting in Shanghai as the population revolts against the draconian Covid lockdown that has prevented people from getting food.

Another disastrous CCP policy.

BTW, the real estate and shadow banking bubble in China hasn't gone away while we have become fixated on the Ukraine war.

World finances, not just Russia's, are in an ever precarious state.

In a phone call on Friday between Duterte and Xi Jinping, Duterte continued his policy of appeasing China, while Xi promised to invest more money in the Philippines. However, Duterte's term as president will end in June, and a new president may or may not continue the policy of appeasing China.
Duterte has been an unmitigated disaster for the Philippines.

If the country had remained a US air force and naval base, none of this would ever have happened.
