I’ve already said Russia is worse and they are to blame for this mess, but I also see the bad parts of the Ukrainian response to Russia’s invasion (brutalizing their own citizens and offering up foreign volunteers as canon-fodder for propaganda) as shitty also. Russia is bad, Russian troops have committed war crimes, Russian troops have killed and brutalized civilians. Ukraine has a right to defend itself, parts of the Ukraine armed forces are shitty, shitty individuals supporting Ukraine are being allowed to do shitty things.
With all that said, do you really think Western mainstream media doesn’t dumb things down and package what they thing is an acceptable view to be pushed on the masses? Did Trump get accurate coverage during his presidency? Do you think January 6 protest was reported accurately? Has COVID been reported accurately?
Show my where the Ukraine has been using foreign volunteers as cannon fodder. I've heard just the opposite: most of the foreigner volunteers are sitting around in hotels or barracks or have been sent home as unfit for military service.
Show me where the Ukrainian government has been brutalizing its own people. Shown me these "shitty, shitty things" they have been doing.
Outside estimates put the death toll in Mariupol alone at tens of thousands. How many Russians have been killed in Russia by Ukrainians?
Have the Ukrainians laid waste to Russia? How they blown up their churches?

accusations of atrocities committed by Ukrainians.
This kind of information is important, because it allows people
reading this forum to compare the atrocities committed by both sides,
rather than implying that the two sides are completely equivalent.
Although all atrocities are to be condemned, my own view is that the
atrocities committed by Ukrainians are minuscule compared to those
committed by Russians.
