Afghanistan has tried to establish peaceful relations with Pakistan but, according to one Afghan commentator, "They fire rockets, they send terrorists to our soil, they destroy our jihadi leaders, clerics, influencers, our mihrabs (religious places), our tribe, our mothers, sisters, brothers, students, children, soldiers and police."

One of the BIG contentions between Afghanistan and Pakistan is that the Afghans feel that the Pakistanis stole land that should be part of Afghanistan that is set forth along Durand Line. While living in Afghanistan, that issue was pointed out to me by many Afghans; from a villagers, war lords and high government officials. It is a very big sore and sticking point among Afghans.
