About twenty minutes before the missile strike, and then again ten
minutes before, the Israelis telephoned
three of the residents of the building to tell them it was coming.

Interesting --- hmmmm, and the "innocent" residents and building owner get there stuff that they worked hard for destroyed? Nice. -- sarcasm

Governments are a minority of people, and if a majority of Palestinians let a minority of Hamas put rocket launchers in their homes, schools, and hosipitals, they deserve losing what they've earned.

It's a good thing I'm not in charge in Israel, because they wouldn't get any warning at all. We didn't cry about the innocent Germans and Japanese citizens getting killed in collateral carpet bombing, they were just as culpible as the governments they allowed to take over. It's a hard stance, and it wont earn you global friendship, but war is either war, or it's just assing around.

Then I guess whatever our government does to us is our fault then, right? When our enemies start nuking us, we should stand up and say "thank you, I needed that".

I wouldn't say thanks. But yes, as the US government is our employee, we the people are responsible for its actions. Only we can vote, and if necessary, only we can overthrow.
