We draw ever closer to war. Russia has never recovered from fall of the USSR. Even military wasn't paid when the Berlin Wall failed and nations broke free. The twits who advocate socialism/communism can't seem to admit the systemic inner rot and failure. Do not forget that Russia has its own muslims with which to deal.
That America and Israel are not sole allies is fascinating. Historically speaking, I find France's participation "iffy". A nation without a pretence of moral core or spine. At this point, May is merely a self-serving come-along with a fractured people, one step beyond our own occupied nation.
I am taking a page from my late intel Dad's book and searching out a shortwave radio. Communications are getting dicey, and the current FTC head seems to be toadying to big business. Assad may be smiling, but Putin is having vodka inspired night sweats.

There's no doubt that this is true. Not only are the Syrian
Christians and Jews at risk, but so are all the Shia/Alawites in
al-Assad's community. Given the chance, the Sunnis will get total
revenge on the 12% of the population that are Alawites. The same
logic doesn't apply to the Christians and Jews, so it's possible that
they're safer than the Alawites.

The politics of genocide is very cruel. It's impossible for one
politician or one leader to commit genocide without the support of a
lot of people. Hitler could not have killed the Jews unless he had
enormous support and popularity from the rest of the population. A
genocidal leader essentially splits the population into two parts.
There's the group that are being tortured, massacred and cleansed.
And there's the group that support the genocidal leader and, whether
they want to or not, would not dare to criticize the leader for fear
of being shot and killed.

I keep coming back to what I've written many times in the past. There
is no war today of Muslims versus Christians and Jews. The jihadists
like to describe it that way, the media likes to describe it that way,
and the politicians like to describe it that way. But that's not
what's going on. The number of Christians being killed is minuscule
compared to the number of Muslims being killed. The wars in the
Mideast today are Muslim versus Muslim. They're replaying centuries
of war between Shias and Sunnis, between Arabs and Turks, between
Arabs and Persians. And there's a new major regional war on the way.

That doesn't mean that the Christians and Jews are safe. To the
contrary, at the very least they'll be caught in the crossfire.
Al-Assad may be protecting the Christians and Jews today so that
they'll support his genocide, but he doesn't give a sh-t about any of
them. He wouldn't hesitate to kill them all in a minute as soon as it
suited his purpose.

I am still dubious about the chemical attacks. I understand the position you posit and can agree with it, to some extent, but then again, call me cynical, but I just do not trust the jihadists or our media to tell us the truth. It is sad that we can no longer trust our media.

No, it shows people can and still use critical thinking skills. I said I am "dubious" and I laid out legitimate reasons for why. We cannot trust our media and we cannot trust the jihadist. If you think otherwise, you're the one being influenced by "fake news".

Globalists know that Americans Born after about 1953-1955 or so; thoroughly distrust the globalist Narrative of the inherent good of democracy, the narrative that democracy is compatible with all culture and the globalist narrative that Americans should have a inherent loyalty to democracy that supersedes loyalty to the United States Constitution. As a result globalists deliberately disenfranchise the postwar generations and rely solely on Silent and Aquarian boomer (generations who agree with the globalist narrative) in order put policy in place. Sorry Globalists, you claim to love democracy but I have to break it to you; that is NOT democracy. In Genuine democracy policy is put in place only after everyone's input has been received and a vote has been held. But globalists know that their ideals could never be implemented if genuine democracy is allowed in America, therefore they instead implemented a system of velvet tyranny.
