I think Donald Trump is smart and aware. I expect the meeting with Kim Jung un to be brief. I wouldn't be surprised if NK killed President Trump or at least attempted to take him hostage during the negotiations. Either way, I expect war on the Korean peninsula this year.

I hope Donald Trump can stay in office. I believe he is the only leader the US has left that can save this country.

I would never trust a bastard who suddenly became conciliatory. I think North Korean promising the Moon is just that: an empty promise. I believe that this is the prelude to an all out nuclear, chemical, biological, and conventional forces attack on the US. Beware.

Kim Has been forced to realize that his bluff has been called by Trump; Unlike what has happened during previous administrations. Therefore he now has no choice but to either back down or go immediately to all out war. Kim is wisely backing down. The North Korean ground forces (nor Chinese forces for that matter) don't seemed to be that well trained to the levels required to battle the US military.

John and Guests 1 and 2 are living in the world of factual history. Kim IS the playground bully, not backing down from one. I also believe that President Trump is is danger if this meeting goes forward. That anyone but leftists, who would hand Kim plutonium, would believe that he is cowed and accepting an inferior position is blindly mind boggling.

Kim's goal is to create an illusion of possible reunification with the south; just enough illusion to motivate the south to ask US troops to leave, permanently. This has long been a goal of the Kim Family Regime. They need to drive a wedge between the USA and ROK. Right now, in the ROK, there is a push by leftists to move the ROK toward socialism.

If the north stops testing missiles, etc., then watch... Iran will probably restart testing. The two countries work closely together and they test each other's technology. It is highly likely that the nukes tested by north Korea in the past were of Iranian design.

KIm is being Cowed somehow, because of the North Korean goals, if he was in a strengthening position, there would be NO reason for the NORKs to go to the peace table. North Korea's ultimate objective has always been Unification by force; the conquest of South Korea.

To accomplish their goal, they need the US out of the ROK; they will feign "peace" to get us out.

Iran Doesn't have nukes Yet, developing Nukes is the whole purpose of the nuclear program in Iran. The West and Israel watch the Nuclear program Like a hawk. If Iran ever acquires nukes it would be from North Korea, not the other way around.

That's your thought. My thought is that Iran has them and has used the norKs to test them.
