My father was a military commander. His words moved men (and the family women). Over decades, words have been devalued at a greater rate than currency.
Humankind is also taking "the sinks".
Erdogan manages to represent the worst of both plus subjecting Turkish citizens to the results of his abysmal economic ignorance. As with most arrogant folks, he surrounds himself with adoring stooges who ask how high to jump.
Internationally Erdogan involved Turkey in Syria and by duplicitous words with Israel. And Erdog made Trump the middleman.
Now 2 pitbulls facing off could morph into conflagration. Under every scenario, the Turkish people will suffer.
Worldwide, the value of words and their definitions should be, but probably will not, be considered and common definitions agreed upon. Trump forgot the lesson of Korean "peace talks" and table shape.

Oh no, the world's greatest negotiator bumbles another one---and this time it's a double-cross. Say it ain't so.
