Someone (Braeburn Capital?) was selling treasuries today (10-year yield mechanically spiked up from 1.638 to 1.679 within one hour in AM prior to the auction) to buy AAPL debt.

The United States destroyed the most cost effective and survivable land based strategic nuclear deterrent the U.S. ever had early in the START treaties.

Now, President Obama, has allowed, in the "New Start" treaty Obama negotiated with the Russians, for the Russians to build the very weapon systems that the Russians insisted the U.S. destroy in the early START treaties.

The most cost effective, survivable, and most effective ( as a strategic deterrent to war) nuclear weapon system the United States ever had, was the Massive MX Mobile missile nicknamed the Peace Keeper. The missile was mobile on trains moving from one rail based shelter to another. The MX missile was capable of a high speed climb into space and delivering each of it's massive ten therm o nuclear warheads to different enemy targets.

It was both a lethal first strike threat and an even more lethal second strike threat to any country that contemplated the chances of their country surviving a nuclear war with the United States.

The United States has eliminated all mobile land based missiles and is in the process of eliminating all multiple warhead land based missiles.

Leaving only the least effective and most expensive land based missiles in the U.S. arsenal.

By contrast Russia and China are both heavily investing in road mobile and rail mobile missiles. All of their investment is in the much more cost effective multiple warhead missiles. Such land based missile investments are the cheapest, quickest and most cost effective way to obtain nuclear weapons superiority over all potential enemies.

Under the "New Start Treaty" negotiated by Obama one massive 10 warhead land mobile missile built by Russia is equal to one much smaller, single warhead, non-mobile silo based missile in the United States.

President Obama, on the other hand, is on an irrevocable path to accelerate the strategic weapons disarmament of the United States, come Hell or High Water.
