Re: Financial topics
As we noted - Fibonacci's RabBit problem - Only ones paying attention are the Communists web sites and that really is a testamony to
how broken it is getting.

Re: Financial topics
Martin is insisting on a 2015.75 peak on his cycle but 2 years ago he was saying gold was going to $5000. I doubted the latter and I doubt the former even more. I agree with you that it's getting obvious this thing has to crash and burn. Choices matter and cycles aren't the whole story.aedens wrote:I thought we could limp unto 2015 mid to late year.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

No point to think these fish heads even pretend to care.
Finally, there is Lawrence Summers, who replaced Rubin as treasury secretary in 1999. Kenneth Lay sent a gushing congratulatory note to Summers,
who responded with a promise that "I'll keep my eye on power deregulation and energy-market infrastructure issues."

In Michigan, a family of three must make less than $815 a month (less than $10,000 a year) to qualify for help.
(Families receiving FIP aid almost always are eligible for other assistance programs, such as food stamps, which were not affected by welfare reform.)
In September 2011, the last month before time limits were put in place, almost 80,000 Michigan families received cash assistance through FIP.
By June, 2012, that number had dropped to about 55,000 – a decline of 31 percent in nine months.
During that same time period, welfare payments dropped by more than half –from $44 million to $20 million in nine months.
If I legally hire one Higg for a part time staff job they starve.

Interesting article on consumer confidence and its relationship to the stock market, mortgage interest rates, and oil prices over the past 3 market cycles. Has many charts.

Went for a nice bike ride, auctions are littered about on homes. Fresh air was nice as I peddled my sorry ass around.
You could almost feel the pain in those homes now shuddered up for auction from the never seen before peaking tax sales as reported before.
Weather is very nice today, and remembered reading acounts when the peak hit during our grandparents time.
People have learned nothing, but alas the weather was bright as the tiger lily's bloom.

5) "Normal" people are herd animals. This has been understood since the dawn of civilization. The Sumerian word for "people" is "lu lu", which transliterates to "sheep sheep"

<sigh>, that would be consistent.
I guess that would also explain:
5. (or 6.) "Normal" people seem to really want to worship celebrity and royalty (e.g., give "blind-deference-and-trust" to somebody apparently "important")

Have you ever read about armies going into battle, throughout history? like sheep to slaughter? history is full of it. -- people --- baaa baaa baaa

Another good comment.
"4."Normal" people do not understand sociopaths, and how sociopaths self-select to authoritarian (government) positions."
The herd will wait for years for the sociopath to do the right thing, really believing he is a good man and will do the right thing. Won't happen.
