Ukrainian Troops in Ukraine are now Occupiers ?

1984, the twilight zone and Alice in Wonderland have nothing on Putin-land.

Invade a country, install a puppet government, have the puppet government's parliament vote to invite the invaders in; have the puppet government's parliament schedule a vote "by the people" to ratify the invite; before the people can vote, have the puppet government's parliament vote to request the invading country absorb the invaded country into the invaders country, schedule another vote of the people in 10 days to have the people ratify they want to be absorbed; then, have the puppet government's deputy prime minister announce 10 days before the people actually have a chance to vote on the invasion, or on being absorbed into another country, or anything, that the absorption is final and that all the Ukrainian troops, in Ukrainian army bases, located within the country of Ukraine, are now the occupiers within their own country.

Only in Putin-land could any of this be real.

We must feel just like the people who lived through the 1930s felt when a little crazy short guy was absorbing countries all over Europe and none of the European leaders would stand up to him.
