Kiev Government ordered Attack helicopters, armored vehicles and troops to attack anti-Kiev militia members in an eastern Ukrainian city.
According to the Government 2 of their ( the Kiev government's) helicopters were shot down, while the Anti-Kiev militias claim they shot down three, not two, Kiev government helicopters.
The death count according to the Kiev government is many anti-Kiev militia killed and one of Kiev's helicopter pilots killed.
Anti-Kiev militia claims only one militia member killed and any others killed by Kiev military forces were civilians.
The attack was halted, or paused, before the center of the militia held city was reached.
This is clearly an escalation since during the last deadly Kiev military attack, no attack Helicopters were sent to attack anti-Kiev militias positions in the same city, however, in that previous attack there was a pause that lasted for days, until today, May 2nd.
Russia has called using the military attack helicopters against a peaceful civilian city a crime and has ask for an immediate UN security council meeting to discuss the violence in Ukraine.
Putin, through his spokesman, stopped just short of declaring the Geneva agreemetn dead, with this being the second time the Kiev government used violence inside Ukraine, in violation of the Geneva agreement they ( the Kiev government ) signed, according to the Russian President.
