Agree, Just as in the time of Noah. I understand most clearly the the term to wax cold.
As in making a candle it is dipped numerous times. We are surrounded but must never surrender.
Bad enough as it is we have been already warned. I expect more got shot in Detroit and Chicago

How can one make intelligent decisions based upon lies? or when people are afraid to call a spade a spade.

Governments -- in lies we trust.

THE Bureau of Meteorology has been accused of manipulating historic temperature records to fit a predetermined view of global warming. ( Australia )

It occurred to me today that "a" had posted a link some time ago that perfectly describes what the engineering profession has become as it relates to infrastructure, as I had discussed this past weekend. It was the link that described what has become known as "pencil engineering" in the nuclear power industry. In my own words, "pencil engineering" is the use of nonsense justification for relaxing the original standards the NRC put into place for the maintenance and replacement of equipment in the nuclear power industry. It has purely short term profit in mind at the expense of safety to benefit corrupt elites.

You mean the redundancy equipment loop checks when they shut down the Michigan City Nuke.
The place was run by sigma six educated pre lean idiots. Most note thats when they attacked fossil
from the nuke lobby. They spent million upon millions so they epa could carve out that segment then.
Like the recent wage dissipation idiots called the nuclear reg agency pressed out it was only radioactive
and a small amount when the other plant containment failed. There bonkers frickin nuts just as the
dimmcrats are. Lisa Jackson was Mother Theresa compared to those idiots. We followed the shorts
on that market rendition then that funded the dimmcrat PAC's. They wallow in acronym adjectives
to confuse the plebes. I posted the 10 year over files since it alleviates a verbal contract with one
from a thread of regard on a specific.

It was this one. Though I can't find "pencil engineering" in our archives, I'm almost sure you posted this link.
PART I: AP IMPACT: US nuke regulators weaken safety rules
By JEFF DONN

LACEY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Federal regulators have been working closely with the nuclear power industry to keep the nation's aging reactors operating within safety standards by repeatedly weakening those standards, or simply failing to enforce them, an investigation by The Associated Press has found.

Time after time, officials at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission have decided that original regulations were too strict, arguing that safety margins could be eased without peril, according to records and interviews.

The result? Rising fears that these accommodations by the NRC are significantly undermining safety — and inching the reactors closer to an accident that could harm the public and jeopardize the future of nuclear power in the United States.
Other notifications lack detail, but aging also was a probable factor in 113 additional alerts. That would constitute up to 62 percent in all. For example, the 39-year-old Palisades reactor in Michigan shut Jan. 22 when an electrical cable failed, a fuse blew, and a valve stuck shut, expelling steam with low levels of radioactive tritium into the air outside.

Unprompted, several nuclear engineers and former regulators used nearly identical terminology to describe how industry and government research has frequently justified loosening safety standards to keep aging reactors within operating rules. They call the approach "sharpening the pencil" or "pencil engineering" — the fudging of calculations and assumptions to yield answers that enable plants with deteriorating conditions to remain in compliance.
Perfect description of what infrastructure engineers do nowadays.

Now that the corrupt elites have a lock on the system, what "increased accountability" means for the individual infrastructure engineer is, "You had better find creative ways to say this rickety crap that can kill people is in compliance or else."

Bureaucracy destroys initiative. Any one who cannot see is already sealed. They will say and pencil whatever they want.

If the rate of change on the outside exceeds the rate of change on the inside, the end is near.
This covered our 2011 view forward which was IMO dead on target and we noted then moderate views are
always attacked and the hill is just what you would expect of some arrogated interests we have discussed.
Nothing much has changed since ERP and SAP but capex and opex improved. The attacks have been brutal.

Silent weapons for a quiet war. They never seen it.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-08-2 ... g-stupider

DIVERSION, THE PRIMARY STRATEGY

Experience has proven that the simplest method of securing a silent weapon and gaining control of the public is to keep the public undisciplined and ignorant of basic systems principles on the one hand, while keeping them confused, disorganized, and distracted with matters of no real importance on the other hand.

This is achieved by:

(1) Disengaging their minds, sabotaging their mental activities, by providing a low quality program of public education in mathematics, logic, systems design, and economics, and by discouraging technical creativity.
(2) Engaging their emotions, increasing their self-indulgence and their indulgence in emotional and physical activities, by:
(a) unrelenting emotional affrontations and attacks (mental and emotional rape) by way of a constant barrage of sex, violence, and wars in the media - especially the T.V. and the newspapers.
(b) giving them what they desire - in excess - "junk food for thought" and depriving them of what they really need.
(3) Rewriting history and law and subjecting the public to the deviant creation, thus being able to shift their thinking from personal needs to highly fabricated outside priorities.
These preclude their interest in and discovery of the silent weapons of social automation technology.
The general rule is that there is profit in confusion; the more confusion, the more profit. Therefore, the best approach is to create problems and then offer the solutions.

As Job warned us the scales of leviathon are hard to breech and remember " Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me; When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness.

When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.
In the time more will see what is between the hand and the head and who placed the seal.
All in all we are moving in a direction already known.
