I am moving to Greece. If nothing else I can get my hands on the pretty blue drachma and enjoy the view with her until the war starts.
For those who are still ‘holding out hope’ that the next election, or SCOTUS decision, etc. will actually change anything this one is for you:

For those who feel that this is all a farce - that the rule of law is finished then feel free to join me by the Med (but you can’t have my pretty blue drachma - go get your own). John, excellent post by the way – I will get you a pretty red drachma.

Where is the HHS IG? It is the IG who is tasked with protecting the American public from HHS fraud. Or perhaps it's just that the cost of a billion dollars for a web site is not sufficient to get the IG's attention? If so, what pray-tell, would interest the HHS IG?

Again, I ask: where is the HHS Inspector General? As fraud is the purview of the IG's office - where are they? As noted on the HHS IG web site the HHS IG's office is the largest IG office in the federal government, with 1700 employees. All they have to do to disprove John's, and many other's claim of impropriety is to initiate a criminal fraud investigation into the healthcare.gov development debacle/fiasco. A good start would be to wipe that smile off Gruber's face with a federal fraud indictment. So much for a corrupt government policing itself.None of this would have happened before Generation-X came into power in the late 1990s. Today, with Generation-X in charge, criminal fraud is so entrenched in Washington, on Wall Street, and in our culture that no one has any shame, and no one cares about billions and billions of dollars being thrown away on Obamacare, which has accomplished nothing except to boost Barack Obama's ego.

Rolling my eyes John. The assumption buried in all those "billions and billions" for healthcare.gov is that the group doing the work has done nothing else during that time. This is, of course, not true. What keeps getting reported in the partisan right wing press, and dutifully echoed by the remnants of media in the USA is the total payments to that contractor for all work done on ANYTHING. So right now you can get any figure you want, up to about 2.2 billion and counting, if you want to claim that's all a contractor who got stuck with this as a side job is doing. A ridiculous assumption, but about par for the partisan press.
