As of yet, no groups or organisations have claimed responsibility for the blast.

Generational Dynamics looks at this situation from a global point of view, instead of just a European or American point of view. And from a global point of view, there are going to be three or four major terror attacks every month, and they'll be scattered around different countries and continents.
And that doesn't even count the countries at war -- like Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. As I've written many, many times, there is no Muslim war against the West. There is a major war, or several wars, of Muslims against Muslims. The number of Westerners killed by Muslims is minuscule compared the tsunami of Muslims being killed by other Muslims. As horrific as the attacks in Brussels and other places are, they are collateral damage to the real wars going on -- Muslims against Muslims.
Much of this comes from Syria, as I've written many times before. The amount of damage that Syria's sociopathic Shia/Alawite president Bashar al-Assad has done to the world, with the support and help of Russia's Vladimir Putin and Iran's Seyed Ali Khamenei, is almost beyond belief.

While Ohio was suffering through the Bush years and into the "Great Recession," Kasich was on Wall Street, raking in the dough from a firm that participated (as almost all of them did) in the enormously risky bets that drove the economy to ruin. It's not that Kasich profited from Lehman's collapse. He wasn't short-selling his own bank's stock (as far as we know.) It's that he made his fortune and got out while everyone else paid the price for his firm's bad behavior.

Re: Financial topics
That snap we talked about. When it finally snaps some will blame business just as economists will blame sticky wages as noted. Not a matter of how just when the wasting process hits critical mass. Democrats will keep dropping seed corn to close the pens as the young guy who barely escaped the communists with a bullet in the back trying to get educated in the states and the so called republicans white flags automate until nothing matters since consumers are ruthless on costs. The report hit mainstream news finally that water will decide the total effects going into 2038. As a few consider the log three functions that time will sort out the bitching and crying for you anyways. The preservation of wheat water and the weather will decide more than digital idiosyncrasy's.

When lowlife business people hire illegals and nothing happens to them, their competitors are left with little choice. I know many people in construction in Texas who tried to resist the hiring of illegals. Few wanted them..after all they couldn't speak english and it WAS illegal. But after a number of years, a few economic downturns and what choice did they have.
I own a small furniture (woodworking) business in Dallas and the only shop I know of that is still predominantly legal english speaking (old white men like me), and it is a struggle. After forty years I am down to three full time employees...and killing it!

A statement by the terrorist group Sunni Tehreek claimed that the government had turned the protests violent by attacking "Prophet-loving patriots," and vowed that the protests would continue.
The terrorists gave the government a list of ten demands. The list called for immediate execution of Asia Bibi, the Christian woman mentioned above whom Taseer tried to protect. The also demanded that Qadri be officially declared to be a "martyr," and that all five million members in Pakistan of the Ahmadi branch of Islam be expelled from the country. The shopkeeper, 40, was attacked with a knife and had his head stamped on in a ruthless attack outside his Glasgow newsagents shop just after 9pm last night. He died later in hospital.
First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.
Then they came for the socialists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.

In June 2009 a Pakistani mother of five, Asia Bibi, was out picking fruit in the fields. At midday she went to the nearest well, picked up a cup, and took a drink of cool water, and then offered it to another woman. Suddenly, one of her fellow workers cried out that the water belonged to Muslim women and that Bibi—who is Christian—had contaminated it. “Blasphemy!” someone shouted, a crime punishable by death in Pakistan. In that instant, with one word, Bibi’s fate was sealed.
Silence has a price.

While I don't think he'll manage to fix anything if elected, I do believe the man is genuinely worried about the direction our Country is going, and is running to stop this out of control train we're on. No man in the White house can stop this train wreck, we can only hope someone manages to slow it down before we hit the wall. It's going to take a reckless loose cannon to do that!
If they attempt to assassinate him, they better not miss! If he lives, it'll make him unbeatable, it'll make him Reagan.
There's a whole generation of grown men and women that know the pain, that know the betrayal of our country. We're the children of the 50,000 boys they sent to slaughter in Vietnam. We're waking up and taking note. We were lied to over and over. My Father's body was never recovered, his empty tomb lays in Arlington, The bronze medallions they sent my brother and I in the 80s are a stark reminder that our Country is corrupt to the core. tar
================================================================================================================
Something extraordinary has taken place in the last few weeks.
More and more old-time Republican stalwarts and leaders have laid their voices bare, if not defending Donald Trump, then for certain excoriating the three decade long NeoLib/NeoCon pact that is strangulating American sovereignty and paving the way for a NWO. Paul Craig Roberts, as always, was perhaps the first. But now David Stockman (Reagan's Budget Director), Peggy Noonan (Reagan's speechwriter), Patrick Buchanan (another Reaganite and erstwhile Republican curmudgeon), Robert Bennett (Reagan's head of the Department of Education), and perhaps many more that I am not aware of are coming out of the closet.
It is almost as though Trump's 'take-no-prisoners' ethos, and getting away with it and media and political correctness be damned, is actually creating enough breathing space for others to say what's been on their mind but have been too frightened to speak out about. Well spoken, known, and credible voices are pushing back. This could be a snowball careening downhill turning into an avalanche. If enough of these folks keep emerging from dark corners they could well provide Trump with a political phalanx that diminish the probabliity of something as outrageous as stealing the nomination or even assassination. One thing is for certain. A civil war is taking place already, and its in the Republican Party. sk

You asked earlier Quo vadis? a Latin phrase meaning "Where are you going?" The modern usage of the phrase refers to a Christian tradition regarding Saint Peter. According to the apocryphal Acts of Peter, Peter is fleeing from likely crucifixion in Rome at the hands of the government.

Re: Financial topics
I worked in heavy industry, primarily chemicals, for twenty years continuously. Went to college on Dad's money - state school, to avoid out-of-state tuition. A few part-time jobs, research work, the usual for engineering students back then. Graduated B.S. in four years, possible back then. Went to work two weeks after graduation (needed time to clean out / pack up / settle accounts). Moved all my stuff in a tan Ford Maverick three states away to a town where I knew nobody, started working. Got married, raised a family, changed jobs several times to make more / better / advance. Thought I had it figured out. Rarely took vacations, starting a new job knocks you back to two weeks and usually had to use it for taking kids to doctors, emergency repairs to houses / cars / etc., a day here and there as needed eats two weeks before you know it.
Changed jobs one time too many; boss was a younger man, a fundamentalist prick. Got laid off when I refused to join his church, went on unemployment for a while. Found no one wanted to hire a middle-aged engineer; went back to school, earned an M.S. and then a Ph.D., all in engineering. Now a consultant, making less than I did during the last year I was full-time employed (2001). Still afloat, barely. One kid got through college on student loans and Pell grants, the other is still in it. We are helping pay off the elder's loan.
Guilty of what? Being stupid enough to work hard, pay taxes to fund Socialist welfare and handout programs? (BTW, unemployment was funded by paycheck deductions while I was working). Pell grants are a government giveaway? Possibly; funding education is hardly a welfare program though, you have to study to keep them.
What I am guilty of is believing the propaganda; work hard, pay your taxes, raise your kids to be doers and builders rather than parasites expecting the world to support them. Retirement is a fading dream now, since we have to pay for ObamaCare and everyone else's "safe space" and " subsidized housing" and "welfare" and "EBT" and so on and so forth. Social Security is paying for the disabled and incapable as well as the retired, while Medicaid and Medicare are slowly killing the elderly by denying service (doctors are refusing to take Medicare and Medicaid because they pay slow / won't pay for certain procedures / have payment caps). It's doubtful that SS will survive long enough for me to collect any, despite the HUNDREDS of thousands I paid in (over a working lifetime, still paying into it now), just another lie and sunk cost. Whole armies of immigrants are impacting schools, hospital emergency rooms and jails more than they pay taxes to support them; whole armies of idiots are graduating college thinking they can just demand whatever they want and it will appear.
Yeah, I'm guilty, but I'm old; in a few decades I will be too old to work, unable to pay taxes and denied medical care because ObamaCare will cause the entire medical system to implode. Once I'm gone, will you still blame me for your troubles? Can you live on that / eat that / build with that? Or will you finally open your eyes and figure out why unstable systems (including governments) fail? Or will you vote for Bernie Sanders to take what you need from everyone else?
We have built this nightmare of our own ignorance, attachment and greed. Only, somehow, I didn't get rich, famous or rewarded for it; can you avoid where I went wrong, or just give socialism a chance to finish destroying America? You will live with your choices as I live with mine; only, I didn't vote for LBJ (too young), Jimmy Carter (knew better), Bill Clinton (knew better), or Obama (didn't like the mystery), so my choices rarely mattered. Perhaps yours will. enc drk
