I think what this assassination really shows is a country in the process of disintegrating. I don't believe Gulen or the CIA-least of all England-had anything to do with this. I believe the policeman was probably rouge, or, perhaps, working with a group. What should be considered is that Russia has actively backed genocide in Syria. Moral outrage and frustration with the Turkish government's dealings with Putin could easily have driven this man to kill the ambassador. Erdogan is losing control. The attempt to end secular government in Turkey is unleashing elements best left alone. Erdogan will be next. I think he knows it.

"rouge" or rogue? I don't think that cop was a commie.

2016 was suppose to be the year of Russian-Turkish friendship from 2015 plans, not until Russian plane got shotdown, then it was rollercoaster ride from hate-love. Some factors are Ukraine/Georgia/Turkey were banning together to create alternative trade routes etc. i.e. excluding Russia. Russia needs Turkey more than Turkey needs Russia.

First meeting after the plane ws shotdown, do you remember how Erdogan kept cremlin midget waiting in front of the cameras? This is the case of two a-holes who have to stay in the same bed for a while. It would be interesting to see how Turkey's visa-less ambitions turn out.

Actually Erdogan reminds me of Amin, ill-fated Afgan pres who played the game between west-east until spetznaz grenaded his ass. Putin understands Erdogan, they can work together, I don't know if there is anyone else who can do the same.
