These people are taking America into civil war. I hope they like living in the killing fields of Mexi-Bosnia. America is dead. It's scum like this that have killed it. Those two sides, and three factions, will ONLY actually physically war with each other if the US is perceptively "losing" the great crisis war.
Until that point, they will "tussle" with each other to recruit sympathizers (very theatrically), and then "unite" along with the rest of the population when their common goal, control of the US government as a perpetual one party fascist state, is threatened by "the external existential enemy".
The "civil war" you wish for MUST be preceded by completed pre-crisis war preparations (on at least one side [US or China]), the beginning of the crisis war, the convincingly perceived likelihood that the US (West) will lose the war, and the widespread breakdown of the machinery of the US government and internal resource distribution system.
Anyone trying to "hide out in the hills" during the Crisis War Starting phase (or late pre-crisis war phase) will be hunted down, and either killed outright for "non-cooperation" or imprisoned in urban or semi-urban prison facilities until itʻs convenient to "lawfully incarcerate" them for treason (should the US "win") or summarily execute them if system breakdown has "advanced" (should the US "lose").
The early late pre-crisis war period has already started, so if hiding out is your plan, youʻd better be there already, prepared to be totally hidden for an indeterminate amount of time until the very late crisis war period wherein the US has nearly lost the war. That will be years (from mid 2017), and the US government will be increasingly intrusive in uncovering hiding places in "the wilderness".
