Golden ratio from 2000 and 2007 S&P highs = December 27, 2019

30 years from Nikkei bubble top = December 29, 2019 (very important market tops can occur in December)

45 year top in 1929, low in 1974, top in late 2019 or early 2020 ideally = January 8, 2020


Since there are many important dates here, if the top does occur in this area, it's not likely any one date will determine.

Another 200 SPX points is typically possible from this type of multi-month distribution/blowoff (1929 US and 1989 Japan), though there aren't many examples to look at.

On the other hand, there has already been a multi-year distribution/blowoff from 2000 which has satisfied targets (and then some), which is unprecedented in terms of its length, likely because it is a multi-century top.
