That suggests that U.S. costs are high due to general inefficiency — inefficient project management, an inefficient government contracting process, and inefficient regulation. It suggests that construction, like health care or asset management or education, is an area where Americans have simply ponied up more and more cash over the years while ignoring the fact that they were getting less and less for their money.

Common theme here.

Reasonable people may ask whether this can be fixed. It can't for the reasons I've specified, mainly that US corporations don't want competent people who can fix these problems. Instead, they want continued corruption and bailouts. Down we go.

If a S&P 500 flash crash is going to happen in May that leaves today and tomorrow. Perhaps not?

The photo is “Johnathan Lee Riches” you’re making him very happy right now. In the past he’s pretended to be Adam Lanzas uncle at Sandy Hook,

Jews for Trump days after shooting and he created a fake Covington page. Congrats
@icecube you’ve been trolled.

Now the rest of the propaganda.
This photograph actually shows Jonathan Riches, a supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump who is also a former federal inmate
and an online troll who has garnered a reputation for filing lawsuits.

Lastly, screenshots show that the image of Riches in a “Make Whites Great Again” hat while pulling a blackberry from a bowl of fruit appears to have been originally shared to the Facebook page of Christina Caldwell, who claims to be Riches’ grandmother, along with the message: “The blacker the berry the sweeter the juice.” That post, too, has been deleted, but Caldwell confirmed in a separate post that it was Riches in the photo. Caldwell made no mention of the hat being fake.

This is (or maybe has been) an amazing short squeeze, but I'm easily amazed by the extent of short squeezes. The 44 session squeeze in May 2008 exceeded all my expectations too. This squeeze was/is 46/46+ sessions. Also, it is twice the number of 23 down sessions from the all time high. The same type of thing occurred from July to October 2007 (19 down and 39 up).

Bottom line is we could have made a top today. If we did, good call aedens.

Those comments seem reasonable but 11 years is a long time. Reminds of the comments from mann that I pointed to as being more accurate than the day they were written in 2009.

I listened to part of a town hall with Senator John Cornyn of Texas tonight. He opened it up to questions right away.

About the third question (in other words this question was approved early on and asked live of the Senator) was from a young man in Nagadoches, I believe. He said he realized that the US has the world reserve currency and can in theory print money but his question to the Senator was isn't there a limit to how much money can be printed. The Senator replied that there is a limit and that we are close to it, in his opinion. I hope I am characterizing what I heard correctly.
